Thats incorrect - my local PC World store (Farnborough, Hants) has a whole in-store section dedicated to LCD TVs, there are many on display.0 -

never used them but believe they are well respected with competative pricing and knowledgeable staff - I would certainly consider them, if they had a local store.

Richer Sounds always used to specialise in buying discontinued stock and selling it off cheap, so once it was gone it was gone. These days they seem to have broadened their range a little wider. I have a feeling that Julian Richer (who started the company) is a qualified barrister, but I could be wrong - I often am! :rotfl:
I have always found them very good to deal with. Thanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0 -

I've been using them for years (from the early 80's), when I bought my first Hi-Fi seperates from them. The service is good, staff knowledgable, guarantees (inc buyback options), always honored without fuss.
Stores may be small, and stock does'nt hang around for long - so if you see somthing you want, you like the price (after some shopping around), buy it straightway !
I would highly recommend them....

Make sure you get this TV with a third party warranty if possible.
Sony are currently loosing billions with the failed PS3 and BluRay endevours as millstones round their necks...In the current environment it would be no surprise if they went tits up.0 -

Should also add - that Richer Sounds offer "Pannel Protection" - pay an extra 10% of the price of the TV and the gttee will be extended for 5 yrs. This will incorporate vogon's suggestion of getting a 3rd party gttee.0 -
