Thanks but what a performance to order it. I wonder how many others have trouble when it comes to comes to completing these forms if you are not on the same wavelength as the people who devise these forms.
Took me about an hour and I had to confer with the other half who was just as lost as I was. I hope the TV itself is easier to set up.:rolleyes:

i checked the price from JL this morning, rang RS 11am (set sold out), found it in comet for £329 so i purchased it :mad:

Its going back unopened tomorrow for a refund as ive just ordered it from JL at the reduced price with the 5 year warranty :beer:

The comet site states 'goods purchased from store,full refund if unopened'

My form was as straight forward as it possibly be???

Name, address, phone, email and card details was all that i was asked

Yess It should have been that but it wasn't. It may be down to the Alliance and Leicester and a whole load of rubbish about verification which led to a dead end and requesting a password which was not needed in the end.

But they're selling it for £329 in stores plus free delivery and 5 year guarantee. I just bought one (on the phone) cos I had my heart set on it and can't wait any longer!

Edit: Sharlee is quite right - instore for £329 delivered - just rang JL Oxford St direct and got one.

I managed to get one online last night and it's a great deal @ £299 with a 5 year guarantee. Hopefully this one will arrive as I've lost out on 3 purchases lately where the order was taken and NOT fulfilled (not JL though).
I still think this may be available cheaper in the next week or two when Comet/Currys/Dixons/Play/Amazon etc. bring the price down and with cashback and voucher codes, but perhaps not with the 5 year guarantee.
So @ £60 per year max. I'm well pleased.
