I have to share this. Went in today to return two velvet Per Una coats my mum ordered half price in the sale. They cost around £75-£80. Stood in the queue for ages as it was so long. Didn't help that the sales assistants insisted on going to the back to hang up returned clothes including little g-strings :mad:.
Anyway, I returned both coats and then stood shell shocked as the sa stuck a £5 sticker on one of the coats! I asked her when it would be put out on the shop floor and she said, 'it won't, it will be sold in the staff shop'.
I left amazed!! :eek::eek:0 -

Was it in her size or am I being cynical?!0 -
The Fort at Birmingham had about six rails downstairs of assorted sale items - not reduced down to a set price though. There was also a corner upstairs by the lift of assorted kids/mens stuff - again not reduced down to clear.
Must admit I didnt look through the rails as the baby had just woken up and would have started wailing for his lunch.0 -

:rotfl:One was a 14 and the other 16 and I reckon they would have fitted her fine lol. I wanted to laugh out loud so much. I had been waiting in the queue long enough, my dd was crying to get out of the buggy, I had seen the SA hanging up undies whilst a long line of us were waiting ever so patiently..... and then to see a £150 coat marked down to a fiver, and NOT being able to buy it did it for me. At least I left grinning :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I didn't actually like the coats so much for myself - imagine if I had? I would have cried then! :rolleyes: I told my mum though. After letting out a short gasp she said 'Oh well, they didn't fit me properly anyway but I would have bought them back for a fiver each!!'0 -

Well if her store closes or has job losses, due to poor profits, perhaps that SA will reconsider if that is a good way to behave in front of customers.
I understand that SAs receive perks, as most jobs do, but at least be a bit discreet about it.0
