Must admit I found the sale very disappointing !!!

I thought retailers were struggling ?

It would appair that M&S must be bucking the trend.

I was there bang on 6 am looking to pick up an Autograph suit & maybe some nice accesorries but the vast Majority of the Autograth range was not on sale.

Yep. Only clothes in outsizes had anything off. But everything I ordered online on the two 20% off days have now arrived - that was worthwhile shopping. The Xmas 'sale' was con.

i think it was a matter of browsing at the right time.
i placed an order on the 24th at 10pm, and got everything in the size i wanted., although stock levels were going down fast.
the wife got alot of the truly you underwear for £1 in size 10

I think alot of shops have not much more to sell, M&S sold most of its stock on the 20% days hence why there is so little in the sale. My local M&S are starting to put the spring/summer clothes out.

Has anyone had problems with ordering in the sale?

Im well fed up with M&S I ordered on xmas day and next day i get an email saying (after getting online confirmation) that my card had not been accepted.

I used the card last month worked fine. So I changed the card on my account to my maestro and same things happened - they wont process the order til they have had payment - so Il of lost out again as stuff will of been sold by now i bet?

Have had several emails and they now want me to ring to add a card?

Well fed up - think Il cancel the order and complain:mad:

My bank keep doing that to me. It's driving me mad. I ordered a whole set of nursery furniture and they cancelled it (I'd only just been paid). Good job it wasn't sale stuff. I phoned the company and they suggested that I phone my bank. I did and they were being really weird. I'm sure that they have to do their security checks but I must have had the strangest person ever!

Ive just emailed M&S my views on this and have canceled my online order!

All Im doing is wasting time sending emails to them asking how to pay and they just send messages back telling me to change cards on the account which i did on the 25th:mad: I also checked my cookies as I know they can cause problems with payment.

I got a few items in the sale instore today and one assistant said even the staff have had the same problems:rolleyes:

Personally Ive not been impressed by the M&S sale this year! Oh well I know not to worry with it in future now!

:money: I have recieved all my items ordered christmas Eve this morning and can only praise M&S for thier fast, efficent service- some poor person was obviously working Boxing day or Saturday.

Went to the instore sale at Peterborough yesterday and there was a decent amount still left. Lots and lots of their DD+ range bras, which I normally struggle to find in the sale, lots of nightwear and Per Una stuff etc. Got some nice stuff.

Received my entire order first thing this morning so I'm pleased with their efficiency this time around :T

However, their packaging leaves a lot to be desired and I've ended up with some broken items which I doubt can be replaced now. I'm also not impressed at having expensive leather shoes sent in a plastic bag with no other protective packaging or shoebox! :mad:
