I got my LinkSys from broadbandbuyer, however they no longer have any in stock.
I set a a Netgear WGR614 Cable/DSL Wireless Router mentioned above a couple of days ago, it seems a very good router for the money and was a breeze to setup.
You still have to remember to set security up as posted above. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Just my humble opinion on Routers ....
I'm always keen on a 'deal' - but i've tried a number of 'bargain' routers, all suffer in some way or another (overheating, tricking to set-up, loosing settings, locking up, poor wireless coverage etc) .... I would pay a little extra and go for a Linksys or similar, it would be worth the £10-20 (just IMHO).

My previous router (when on ADSL) cost me around £20 and was excellent, never a problem.
My £25 LinkSys has been and still is great.
The cost of an item rarely reflects on it's quality, you can buy expensive make/models and they have nothing but problems. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
