Hi
I've just been over there. I got a few Cd's for about £2 each (some less, some more), also got a couple of greeting cards (not many envelopes left though for some reason). There's a few books hanging around, some school clothes, lots of Christmas stuff, some named mugs and bottles for kids (limited names) and a few bits and bobs.
Everything seems to be 80% at the moment (as at 1.30/2pm).
If you're after anything in particular, let me know and I'll try and help. It wasnt overly busy and I didnt see any huge or expensive items.

The question is, however, do you actually want any of that stuff?
I think too many people have been suckered into buying any old rubbish because it's been heavily reduced.
In other news, I bought some till roll (4p) and a packet of Woolies carrier bags (9p) today.0 -

hubby rang to say abingdon was doing everything for 10p (he got a couple of Diana Tribute dvds labelled at £16.97 for 10p each, kids shoes 10p, soap dispensers 10p each or a shelf full for £3 - basically it was all 10p. (thankfully he only came away with a couple of the dvds and not a shedload of soap dispensers lol -
Joking aside - I'm pretty gutted about it closing as I used to love woolies and feel sorry for the staff who have all lost their jobs.0 -

Yes, I only buy stuff I want lol (been there, done that!!). Either myself or someone in the family likes the CD's and my daughter missed out on an advert calendar plus all the other stuff was stuff I wanted.
Sad to see it go also. Wont be the same without it now - it's become a family tradition to always pop into Woolies and get some pick n mix for my daughter and browse round at the toys and books.
