The Galashiels branch is actually closing on 3rd of January.
I went in there today and managed to get loads of clothes for the kids at £1 per item (one of them was a coat whose original price was £32.) All in all it should have cost well over £200 and all I spent in the end was £26!
I also got a DVD and a CD for £2.25 each A bejeweller for £4.99, 5 x socks for £2, eldest son got school trousers for 50p each instead of £10 per pair.
At the moment they are selling school clothes for 50p, shoes are also 50p, all clothing is £1 and at everything else still seems to be 50% off though i'm not sure how much longer that will last for.!!!!!! happens!!!:D0 -

got some bargains in my store, before it shut on Saturday.
My store had 90% off from 3PM onwards, so it might be worth getting there for half two so you can have a good look around before heading to the till!0 -
I went to Ulverston today and it was 80% off everything. Last day before it closed. I came away with a huge sack of things and spent £11 and could quite easily have spent more but felt a bit like a scavenger.
I got a leapster game for £3, few packs of 10 pairs of knickers and socks for 60p, loads of Xmas cards for 40p, some sewing things (like wonderweb) but for some reason these aren't showing on receipt, 500ml bottles of pop for 18p, thorntons toffichocs 30p. Daughter kept throwing sweets in basket and things like curly wurlys, fudges, chomps etc were 3p each!
There was a man heaping full boxes of chocolates etc into a trolley with a van outside.... looked like he was taking it to resell!0 -

My local one closes next Monday, the 5th, and there's a large sign gone up in the window this afternoon saying it's closing in 9 days
I had a look but there really doesn't look like there's much left that's worth buying and any CDs and DVDs that they have got at 50% off are still cheaper on Play.0
