Wannabe Sybil; my best find of the year. I know I upset her earlier but I think she's fabulous.
I've just not said it out loud.
And eco balls; apparently for £22 I will get 23-30 years of washing. Bargain.0 -
:money: This board for sure! The first thread I ever read was MBAZ's feeding her family for a month on 20 pounds. I was so inspired its made me take up the baton again as it were for OS cooking, fuel use, heating and lots lots more. I've cut our shopping budget (inc cat & dog food, cat litter, cleaning products & the like) to 30 - 50 pounds a week for 5 of us and I provide packed lunches for everyone and breakfasts. I used to regularly spend 100 - 150 and now can't believe how I managed it  I spent 80 this morning on a two week shop & some little treats for christmas and the cupboards are heaving :T I'll be joining the storecupboard challenge thread soon
i have also spent the least on christmas presents ever this year. We sat the kids down & talked about how out of hand it was all getting. They've had 50 pounds each plus a stocking from us & money from other family members. I caught my dd (16) reading through the mse email yesterday looking for when the sales start & where the best bargains are. She's learning soooo much quicker than I did
Also a big big thank you to you all. You are the most helpful people I have EVER come accross on a forum. You all rock :A :j :A
Happy, Happy Christmas to all. I hope you enjoy the day however you're spending it.0 -
