Today in Chatham. Loads of rubbish but there was a stand with some 'larger' items on it e.g hairdryer, shaver, tongs etc Not the promised ones though.
I got a Brita water filter jug for £2.99! Bit of a bargain bearing in mind a filter itself is about £3!! So I got new jug and filter :jAlways on the hunt for a bargain.0 -
Our local store had huge signs up in all the windows saying "greatest ever sale" but in store it was just full priced stuff, bar one shelf of what I would call reduced tat ie Christmas gift boxes etc reduced but still expensive. Waste of time, and bearly anyone in the shop at all.0

Went back to the White Rose Superdrug this afternoon, armed with the list from the first page. I really wanted the Babyliss Pro Hairdryer for £1.99 or the Carmen Curl Pro for £4.99. They had the Carmen hairdryer in for £24.99. I grabbed the nearest staff member, who just happened to be the assistant manager and asked her if it was indeed reduced to £4.99 as stated in the press release. She immediately stated she had never heard of such a press release, even though it was quite obvious that she had, and then changed her mind and said that any items in the original press release were for the online sale only!!! I was disgusted with her attitude, I was very polite with her and she was rude and offhand with me. Anyway, I continued on to the checkouts with my Braun silkepil epilator which the assistant manager herself had just placed on the reduced to £2.99 shelf. When at the checkout the price came up at £9.99, the sales girl went to check with the manager and she said that it had simply been placed on the wrong shelf and they refused to let me have it for £2.99, despite the fact that there were many others on the display!!Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

I went into the teeny weeny Ely brach today and got a couple of boxes of Xmas cards for 10p each, a packet of blu tack for 10p, some gift soaps, and kids pressies for 99p each. I was lucky - there was a lot of stuff there that suited me, and I happened to be there but I am glad I didn't make a special journey.

Hi, I went to Redditch Superdrug today and managed to pick up some massage foot spa's at £4.99 each. They are brilliant and in comparison to my Scholl one my DH bought me for £30 for christmas this year there is hardly much difference. This is definitely a great pamper gift/treat at a bargain price! I bought 2 for birthdays coming up in 2009! :jMummy to a beautiful 4 month old princess! x0

I went to Superdrug in Woking yesterday and don't recall seeing anything from the list. They had a few Christmas items reduced a little (by about a £1!) but most of it was still at its original price.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I've visited Superdrug everyday since the sale started because I knew that not all items would be reduced in one go. Grabbed myself Babyliss hair curlers (£2.99!),
Tresemme hair dryer also £2.99, was looking for the superdrug air dryer reduced to 99p but they werent in our store. Also some 10p candles, loads of hair masks 10p also so I'm happy. I'll be popping in tomorrow to see what else they've added to the reduced baskets.

Well, one person's rubbish is another person's bargains remember. I spent £4 on hair slides and scrunchies at 10p a pack and I was well chuffed, I can tell you. My DD loses there things at a rate of knots and they're normally £1 or more oer pack so it was a good deal for me! The SA who was unloading the sales items out of boxes was rummaging around at the bottom to find all the loose ones, and found me a couple of other items as well including, of all things, a cat bed for 99p. Lovely girl.Val.0
