  • All jewellery was half price in Watford today, got some nice stuff.
  • Went to Ballymena store today ( northern ireland ) a load of carp, saw the pregnancy test & school heel cream on the shelves at full price took them to the till and asked to speak to the manager he gave me them at the advertised price bt he did look fed up with the whole thing. I will be sending a complaint as this store was on the list and I was there for the store opening but they didn't have any of the other advertised stuff and even the stuff I did get was only because I came prepared with a list and was cheeky enough to ask

You go girl!!! :rotfl: The Ballymena store isn't great anyway. I have had to complain on a number of occassions and just go to Boots now. Over the summer i was in with my Mum and we were trying on some make-up products. A member of staff told us, quite rudely, not to test the make-up. When we ignored her she called for security on the tannoy!!!
I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)
  • been to Ripon store today and nothing on clearance offer. The only thing worth buying, and it was by the exit door was some 10p wrapping paper. Nothing else on sale.
  • just came back from the York store. there were a couple of empty shelves with 10p stickers on. Quite a lot of £1.99 sales stock, most of which was rose handcream gift sets. I did get a 35 piece makeup set which included lots of brushes, eyelash curler, sponges, nail files and was only £1.99. There were stacks of those available.
  • Went to Solihull store today and got ladies slippers 49p a pair, pink slim digital camera for 4.99, few other 49p bargains and my son bought a Dr Who choc advent calender for 10p!!!
As if theres not enough chocolate in the house!! LOL.
Not a great deal else to be had.:D
  • I went to my local store today. They had the big posters in the window but only had one small bay of sale stuff. nothing that was on the list either! Although they had the pregnancy tests full price on another shelf! when i questioned the manager about it she said he didn't know anything about what was on the list! A great help! What a con!

I went to the stores in Clapham Junction and Clapham this afternoon.

I don't think I saw anything that was on the list.

But spent about 7 pounds on 10p items and 8 pounds on assorted other items (mostly 49p and 99p items). I now have a lifetime supply of intensive hair conditioner sachets and hair accessories!! The best deals I got were two colorful stripey umbrellas for 10p each. I also bought a set of pink gardening tools for 99p and a matching set of secateurs for 99p. The DVDs that the above poster mentioned were also quite good but I had already seen all of the films.

I still think it was a fairly good sale, especially if you need hair bobbles and conditioning sachets :p. I am sooo jealous of the lady who got the Bourjois gift sets though!!!

There are two in Clapham Junction, which one are you referring too? Which one had the stripey umbrellas? I didn't see any in either of the Clapham Junction stores :(
There were just too many pointless gift sets - argh!
    Thanks MSE!!

Has anyone bought a Skype phone for £9.99 from Superdrug?
  • I went on Boxing Day, it was absolutely rubbish! The only things I saw from the list were some Clarins and Lancome skincare for £4.99. I only bought Haribo for 10p a packet and some hand wipes. Won't be bothering with Superdrug again!
  • Can I ask how much did you spend to get these ? Not being nosey just curious;)
I sepnt £40.60!! It was stuff I needed anyway... shower gel, face scrub... and I got the two gift boxes free... Spent £40 and got £210 of Lush goodies :D
