Glad she did, i hate it when people use the make-up, how would you like to buy something that someone else has used? And if you are talking about testers then it is only for your own safety - you can use the back of your hand to test and no eye products can be testers for hygiene reasons. When I used to work with cosmetics I used to see dirty homeless women testing make-up on their faces and had great pleasure letting the little schoolgirls know about it when they did the same!!!0 -
I went into the teeny weeny Ely brach today and got a couple of boxes of Xmas cards for 10p each, a packet of blu tack for 10p, some gift soaps, and kids pressies for 99p each. I was lucky - there was a lot of stuff there that suited me, and I happened to be there but I am glad I didn't make a special journey.
Sorry to hear of your experiences Kazipoo and nozzadamozza - sounds terrible!
I went there too and came out with loads! A couple of the Bourjois gift sets for £4.99, Gillette Fusion Power sets (razor with spare blades and shaving gel) £4.99, slippers 10p, Dove minis 99p, xmas cards 10p a box, alien walkie talky £1.99, travel hair dryer £2.99 etc.0 -

To be clear, fattyrae1 made the statement not me.
fattyrae quoted me as saying I was in the Ballymena store then she went on to tell her story about trying on make up and when someone else quote fattyrae1s post to stay how annoying this behaviour was it has shown up a me who made the statement about trying on the make up when if anyone looks back on the previous posts they will see I never said it !!!!!
I know its confusing but I don't like people thinking bad of me when I DIDNT DO IT !!!
See post 466 for fattyrae1 quoting what I saidBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
So how many people actually managed to get any of the offers on the original press release....so far all i can gather is that the website said that the offers would be instore-the stores are saying it should have been on the website??!!
Talk about contradictory, i think they have been totally misleading and i think trading standards should look into it. I went into the Nottingham store and it was pants. None of the offers were there.:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)
