I was in Bluewater today and in the right hand corner at the back they have lots of items from between 49p and £4.99. Lots of bargains! I bought quite a few little bits to give as birthday presents throughout 2009!

in barrow in furness store found a remington x120 rechargable razor 4.99

and a cosmopolitan beauty expert epilator 4.99

managed to get the £2.99 Bourjois set, needed a new mascara so it was a good deal! Daughter got a pack of bath fizzers for 99p and i also got a loreal moisturiser for 99p. Not bad really

They had the £4.99 Bourjois set, but the brooch thing inside was broken. They didn't have the electrical stuff either.

i went in just as the woman brought out a big box of 10p thing mostly bobbles and clips for kids tho

i've been to 2 store now, one in stoke on saturday even though it was one of the sales store there was only rubbish on sale. and i went to the one in manchester yesterday and they only had total rubbish to, i walked in and pretty much straight back out again today.

Following report on sales promotion, I went to my store in Worcester with the following list:

99p hairdryer
£4.99 Blood pressure monitor
£1.99 Babybliss hairdryer
£499 Curl perfect dryer Carmen

Not one of these items was available. The Manager came to help me but he found none of the items either!!!!!

Ok, I emailed Superdrug in disgust at my treatment at the White Rose store in Leeds the other day, the email I sent was quite detailed and I won't bore you with it here, but I will add the reply.....

We would like to apologise to our customers who were led to believe that we would have discounts of up to 90 per cent from Christmas Eve. There were some incorrect media reports that assumed that our sale would be the same as our biggest ever sale in store where we have discounts of up to 90 per cent in 300 stores across the country. All items in the sale are subject to availability and not available in every store. A list of these stores and some amazing online bargains did go live on Christmas Eve. We apologise for any confusion.

I was in Ealing Superdrug yesterday, one of those that were meant to have the sale. I'd gone in for a shower cap, but saw that they had a moisturiser on the sale stand that I thought I'd get. Then on the next sale stand, they had a hairdye that I hadn't seen on sale since 2000, and another with an on-pack offer that ended in 2003! I looked at my moisturiser again and saw on the bottom 'EXP JUN 2006'. So if you're buying toiletries, be careful!
