SUPERDRUG -- WHAT A JOKE
WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN AND WITH STUNTS LIKE THIS THEY COULD BE NEXT ON THE ADMINISTRATORS NAUGHTY LIST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
I was in superdrug in catle court in belast and have to say was very disappointed and frustrated. They had the big signs up saying biggest ever sale but had nothin else, no other signs to say what was on sale or anything. When i asked what was on sale the assistant told me he did not know but that whatever i had picked up if it was on sale it would come off at the til. i'm sorry but thats not much bloomin use is it!!!!
Has anyone else come accross anything like this with them?

was up at the crack of dawn this morning to be at Superdrug when it opened. Did not buy one thing- did not see anything advertised.
very disappointed.
If you want a real bargain, head to Lush where you get a free gift box when you spend £20. I was able to make it to Lush's opening as well and got the £100 gift box for free, and also a £70 one!!0 -

I actually worked at Superdrug and I can tell you quite authoritatively that this so-called sale was in fact a deliberate and well-planned con.0

All I had was a hand written list of the things I wanted that should be on offer, I asked the girl to check the price, they scanned at the full amount I told her they should be reduced and she called the manager who looked truely fed up ( I was there just after they opened ) he took a look at the list, I told him I got the information from their press release and he said to the girl on the till to reduce them accordingly which I was very grateful for as I realise he didn't have to do this. I had only taken 1 preg test to the counter so after the manager had left I asked the girl if I could be cheeky and get two more at the same price and she said 'yeah thats fine' and laughed !! It's always worth a try, at the end of the day the staff know this is a fiasco and just want to keep the customer happy in my experience.
Hope this helps

I went to Superdrug in Clapham Junction and bought 7 dvds; each for 99p & 1 for 49p. I don't see any of the item listed in the first post though...0

I went to Superdrug in Guildford and was hugely disappointed. They had the massive clearance event posters up but no real cheap items. Waste of time.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Right! I may give it a go then, although I stocked up on comdoms,12 ribbed for £1.99, avanti's 99p for 2 and a pack of 6 mates for 99p was pretty good going.

I went to the SD in Marble Arch (London) and Westield (London). Though there were many people, they had not alot of reduced stuff. The staff looked depressed- probably having been hasseled about the over-hype, and shelves were fully stocked, no much being bought, despite it being packed and there being ques.
I saw some of the items listed, the Juicy Tubes for example, but they were all being sold at full price! I left, went to boots, which actually did have some good deals (No.7 zip-up makeup set, £70 reduced to £17!)0
