Well I'm hugely disappointed in Superdrug today - having been unable to get the stuff I wanted online on Xmas Eve, I spent an hour this morning trawling central London between 3 of the big sales stores listed, and by 11 not one of them had opened (all had "opens at 10am Boxing Day" signs on the door). In fact there was no sign of activity inside whatsoever, so eventually I gave up. Useless.

Went to my local superdrug... early, and luckily for me they had some bargains.

Babyliss Pro 230 ceramic straighteners £4.99 (still £58.99 in Argos!!! and reduced to £29.99 in Boots)
Philips Moi wet n dry shaver £4.99 (was £19.99)
2 Funky umbrellas for my daughters @ 49p each
2 pairs of slippers @ 49p each
And loads of hair accessories (bobbles, hairbands and scrunchies) 10p each.

All told spent just £15!!

Still a little dissapointed though because I really wanted a new hairdryer at a bargain price as advertised in the forum, but they only had a very small stand of reduced items, and had my daughter and myself not been the first ones in (my daughter screamed "STOP, DROP AND ROLL" when the shutters went up lol) and just grabbed stuff randomly (lol) we wouldn't have even got that. There were hands appearring all around us and within 30 seconds the stand was empty!!

But all told I am pleased with my bargains of the day, thanks for the heads up you guys.

Best way to save money with SuperDrug.. is to not bother going!!

I went in. Wanted hair dryer either the one at 99p or one at £4.99 and my daughter wanted the St Tropez tan advertised at £4.99, they didnt have either. Bought Tresemme conditioner at 99p, pack of elasticy bobble things for my daughter 10p, 4 dove soaps individually boxed at 10p each and large pack of 10 or 10 washing up sponges at 10p, total spend £1.59. Didnt mind going in as my daughter was going to River Island 2 doors away so wasnt a special journey
