Print out the press release and bring it with you to the till with the item.
Also ask staff to check the stockroom. :T
Thanls for the tip, but I am not going in there again unless I absolutly have to- not only are the que speeds a rival for woolies in terms of speed (or lack of) its not something I feel any of us should have to do. I think Superdrug need to reaslise the customer is not stupid and deserves a degree of respect. Other stores seem to work along these assumptions, why should superdrug be any different?
Think this next year will be a hard one for them and they have just done something very stupid in terms of customer loyalty here!0 -
I went to the stores in Clapham Junction and Clapham this afternoon.
I don't think I saw anything that was on the list.
But spent about 7 pounds on 10p items and 8 pounds on assorted other items (mostly 49p and 99p items). I now have a lifetime supply of intensive hair conditioner sachets and hair accessories!! The best deals I got were two colorful stripey umbrellas for 10p each. I also bought a set of pink gardening tools for 99p and a matching set of secateurs for 99p. The DVDs that the above poster mentioned were also quite good but I had already seen all of the films.
I still think it was a fairly good sale, especially if you need hair bobbles and conditioning sachets. I am sooo jealous of the lady who got the Bourjois gift sets though!!!

I feel sorry for the staff, but after todays trawl I really hope they go under.
The Dorest Lapland of retailers - promised loads, delivered nothing. I'll be writing to Superdrug to tell them they've just lost my custom.0 -
Would trading standards be interested in this farce ????Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0

I was going to go to my local store but luckily I know somwone who works there - gave them a bell and even tho they were ont the list - they weren't opening and I was told to not even bother on Saturday as they didn't have anything......I went to a larger store in Newport, Gwent andlow and behold they didn't have any of the "good items" only a few 10p items - ebven though they were displaying large sale posters - the manager who was very harrassed instructed me to write to Head Office as all he had had was hassle all day and that they had never had any of the stock on the list. I felt quite sorry for the staf to have been put in this position. Here I go with my letter.

I went to the small Cramlington branch and of course, they didnt have any of the advertised bargains
I did get some 10p bargains though - 5 packs of Eve pantliners, some hair elastics, tins of mints and kleenex hand wipes. Also got one of those 'buzz' games where you have to guide the loop round a metal coil, reduced from £10 to 49p and 2 gift sets for 99p. Total £4.17....Worth popping in if you are passing but I wouldnt have gone out of my way!0 -
