.. its adapted from a nigel slater idea (ie I have dispensed with huge amounts of butter :rotfl:) but essentially, colour the meat both sides, then add some fresh tarragon and a small glass of wine, cover the frying pan and simmer for about 5 ish mins until the pork is cooked through.

remove the pork to rest, remove the lid, turn up the heat and reduce the wine til you get a couple of spoonfuls - use this as a sauce.

In another pan, fry off some chopped bacon until done, then add shredded cabbage (a dark one like january king or savoy), toss it about for a moment, add a splash of water to create some steam, cover and it will be ready in about 3 mins.

Mmmm sounds delish will give that a go I think:T
Remember ....its not a bargain unless you need it :D

Are there any more cereals bars and such that can be used as HeB's apart from the Alpen light bars and the other bits in the food optimising book? I can't eat citrus fruit or dark chocolate, so the summer fruit Alpens are getting a bit tedious!

Is there a full list of HeB's or something to refer to so I can find out?

Following several weeks (well, nearly a couple of months!) on a plateau, the weight is starting to shift again, but I'm trying to vary what I eat a little more to see if that helps.

Any recommendations for the bars as HeB's would be much appreciated.

after 2 weeks of maintaining I finally lost 1/2lb this week which was a relief as I felt positive I'd put on as we'd been out for 2 family meals and I'd had a dessert so very bemused by it all.

Syn free sausages in Staffordshire - apparently theres a butcher in Madeley who makes syn free sausages and burgers of various kinds. Our consultant arranged for him to come to the meeting with his stuff and I know he goes to other meetings in the Newcastle area if that helps anyone. Cant be many butchers in Madeley can there as its quite small.

Yes, HeB choice and 1 or two bars!

Something else while I'm here - I still can't get into the website, so can anyone gove me some details for the Morrison Salad Creme, EXTRA light please? It's not eat smart or anything, just Morrisions branded.

    Thanks.
