Well done to taxi and shelley for great losses this week

syn free sausages : many people talk about 'joes sausages' (which are certified syn free by SW), but unless you know of a local supplier (I don't) the only way to get hold of them is online, and obviously there is a delivery charge (unless you order £60 ish) which is quite a lot of sausages :rotfl: hence I haven't tried them ... mind you I am tempted to see if there is any interest in class about making a joint order soon...

ditsy tortillas are made with wheat flour (which is synned) and usually oil. Pittas are also not allowed as a B choice :(. if you are looking for a wrap for fajitas (etc) then I recommend using large cos lettuce leaves, but if it is for a lunch sandwich, then you will probably be better off with either a wholemeal sandwich or bread roll.

Angie you have such lovely food ideas I would never have thought of using lettuce leaves as a wrap :D:D:D:D

Funny thing my consultant mentioned Joe's sausages tonight in class - she had never heard of them but a member had given her a leaflet. Has anyone tried them?

Well done to all this week's losers ;) .

I lost 2lbs last night, so 5lbs in 3 weeks, so I am pleased. Hoping to get my half stone next week.

    Food today on green:

Breakast (as I didn't start work until 10am) - 2 x quorn sausages (free), wholemeal bread (HEB), poached egg (free), 2tbsp bbq sauce (1 syn)

Lunch - Jacket potato with cottage cheese and large side salad (all free), 2tbsp salad dressing (2 syns)

Dinner - yet another jacket potato with 3 x quorn sausages (yet again) with a tin of baked beans (all free) and 56g grated red leicester cheese (HEA x2)

    Snacks - Hi-Fi Bar (HEB), 2 x satsumas

and a few more syns to have yet as I have only had 3.

Not a very healthy fruit and veg day today but been busy and late at work and when I got in I just wanted something quick and easy hence the 2nd jacket potato of the day.

I was so tempted to stop on the way home and get fish and chips as it was really late and I was shattered. Luckily, common sense prevailed.
    :hello:

    snack: grapes

dinner: 1.5 joe's sausages, 227g jacket potato as mash (HEB), onions and gravy (2 syns.....?)

    snack: 3 lite babybel (HEA)
    Tinned lean ham and pineapple
    Milk for coffee's (HEA)
    Treat: Kitkat 2 finger (5.5syns)

    total 7.5 syns

Angie, there is a list on the SW Consultant's site for low-syn 'real' sausage suppliers. If you let me know where you live, I'll have a look see if there's one in your area.

xnatalie81x - looks like you're enjoying your Joe's sausages :rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
