to me it's a little less nice and interesting than chewing on corrugated cardboard.

Finn crisp, however, I quite like

Oh dear, maybe I wont bother then!

scan bran are also available from some Holland and Barrett stores.

Pretty awful tasting unless used in Scan Bran cake really!

I love the idea of using a silicone muffin tin and then microwaving........what a fab idea.......

Scan bran cake sounds interesting, if I see any in town tomorrow I'll buy them and see for myself what they're like.

ldavies - your last post, however, does smack of sarcasm a tad.

Agreed! Get your humour back? I've got a great sense of humour thanks - and as you obviously know how to use smilies why don't you to save misinterpretation? :p

the only person who misinterperated that post was you, and to be fair, it wasnt even posted for you... anyway, i forgive you!:D
  • Right, attempt no. 3 for me, I rejoined SW earlier in the year but having just moved to the other side of the country and working in 2 different offices during the week I found it quite hard to get to classes regularly (get my excuses in quick!).

I'm more used to my situation now and have been toying with going back to the weekly meetings, esp after the gorge-fest that was xmas. I'm going back home this weekend after visiting the family for 2 weeks and all I have waiting for me is a GIANT tub of frozen mashed potato - why didn't I portion it up first?? A few green days are in order I think, unless the magical new plan can be of any help.
  • WELL...

got a bit heated ther for a minute ;)

can i just say a big thank you for everyone who has been supportive and takes time to post. it is good to know that i am not on my own in thinking that my weightloss is impossible, or that i use a tad too much squirty cream on occasion (i can get a bit trigger happy!!) or trying to fit it all in around work (where there is always an abundence of chocs/cakes/crisps)

    Big hugs all round (((((((all))))))
tongue.gif practice makes perfect...but nobody is perfect so i suppose i will keep practicing tongue.gif

    Evening all....
hope you have all had a nice day. I hit the sales again today and ate my lunch at 10.30am (before i left for town) !! as I really fancied a mcdonalds including their banana milkshake but I was an :A and resisted!

Today was home made pasty day and following my post earlier in the week, I can report that I ate half my pasty and followed it with a bowl of ice cream, toffee sauce and a crumbled flake! Im also ashamed to report that despite following the extra easy plan all day yesterday, I completely lost the plot in the evening and munched who those how many syns along with a large glass of red wine and also finished off my coffee baileys!

Tomorrow I have a family buffet to go to! I will have jacket chips for my lunch but will, within reason eat what I want at the buffet. This will be my last for want of a better word, binge!!! before I get straight back on the plan 110% from Sunday.

There will be lots of yummy things at the buffet and i know that if I only pick up a bit of lettuce and a carrot stick, I will sulk and will then eat 10 x worse when I get home! there is a new fish and chip that has opened in our town and I havent visited yet...... (perhaps when I reach a target:j:D:j)

I hope to sit down and plan a rough menu plan for January including plenty of extra easy days. I always find when I plan in advance that I find the SW plan easier to follow/stick to.
