Thanks Angie.,
I will try the drinking more water trick , its something I dont really think of doing. I am really into the fruit herbal teas which I sweeten with spenda.
I have since left the sw class because I felt so embarrased gaining weight , I actually cried in class because peeople were admitting to cheating and still loosing , where I was an angel and put on , lol.
Today I have eaten (red day) ,
2 slices of nimble with scrambled egg (3x)
1 apple
4 quorn egg bite things (1/2 syn each)
1/2 pint milk for my tea/coffee.
tonight .....
turkey curry ..... basically diced turkey , mixed veg , tin tomato, stock cube, curry powder.
1 apple.
total , 1 x A
1 x B
4.5 synsKindness costs nothing0 -
forgot to say , the only thing thats different since i left slimming world is the
EE day . I dont know if I understand this method well ?
Is this correct ? .......
on a EE day , you can eat ;
1 x A
1 x B
Then you can mix all free food from both RED and GREEN days
and have 10 syns.
and what does EE stand for ?
sorry for all the questionsKindness costs nothing0 -
Hi Everyone
I haven't been on for a couple of days. Heck there is a lot to catch up on!
I had WI this week & only lost 1/2lb. I'll be honest i was very disappointed as i had been exceptionally good (which is very tricky for me !!;) )
But a loss is a loss & i hope for better this week.
There have been some lovely recipes posted recently that i have got to try (Brunch pie & choc orange mousse & breakfast rice)
Thanks for the ideas, keep up the good work!

Mirry - EE stands for Extra Easy - and yes you're right with the idea (though we'd have 5 - 15 but 10 or under may help you in your instance)0

well, I know what *my* consultant would say, and that is that I am not sure you are eating enough. I can't see lunch!
To get a metabolism working for weight loss, you need to eat LOTS of food - you have to convince the body that there is plenty of food available so that it feel no need to store any food as fat. The moment you 'eat less to lose weight' you go into starvation mode and gain.
By eating more, healthily, using all your a and B choices and some syns, your day may have looked more like:
B 3egg scramble on 2 nimble (HB) grated cheese on top (HA), grilled lean bacon, grilled tomatoes, tea/coffee (milk HA)
L 4 quorn egg bites (syns), huge plate sized salad with lettuce, toms, cue, celery, peppers and spring onions. fat free dressing. muller light and apple for pud
D turkey curry (as described) using lots of chunked veg, jacket potato (HB) and marg (syns), apple and banana for afters....
it looks like a lot, it *is* a lot, but with the water as well, I think you would see the weight off quicker....
I am also soooo sorry that you felt you couldn't stay at class - the consultant should have called you out of class, or supported you in another way... I also spend weeks being an angel and not loosing while those around me do, it is very hard keeping the motivation, but we are all here for you <hugs>0
