No, more usually 'That which has been proven!' Which in non-mathematical, euphemisitic useage means you've just proven my argument that IE is inherently insecure.

Even if the reason for that is that it has the lion's share of the market and makes it a much bigger target, there's no escaping the fact that if you want a secure browser don't use IE.

But then by that eqaution so will Fire Fox and all other browsers when its been in the forefront long enough and user rates go up..

wouldn't that depend on:

1) How good their software engineers are on security issues

2) If they release software for use on the instruction of the marketing people before the "techie" people feel it is ready - something Microsoft have been accused of in the past
