IE cant help being the most popular thats why it is targeted, as the hit to user
ratio is greater so yep thats obvious the results will be high for IE.
You do make a valid point Intel
IE unfortunately gives you a double hwammy as regards risk of attack by the scummier elements amongst the online community.
1) Micro$oft products are generally very poor on security with more holes than swiss cheese.
2) Because it currently has such a stranglehold on the market these people obviously target their products ahead of othersHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -

It's an adaptation of the classic Pythonesque moment, "What have the Romans ever done for us?" from Life of Brian.
We're not Americans we're the Popular Front for the Liberation of Judaea!!

I agree with that because if they were so good there would be no need for
error reporting as a good product wouldnt have any error's.. also its doing
the Job for them and I dont get an hourly rate from MS so I dont report.0 -

There are three important perceptual aspects of a browser's HMI for a user to buy into. These are look and and feel, functionality and security.
The problem I find with IE is that it compares badly with Opera and Firefox on security and functionality. As for look and feel that just comes down to personal preference.
The biggest problem with IE is that there is very litte if anything at all you can do about its limitations in each of the three areas.
However with Firefox and Opera the better security is inherent and a user can customise the look and feel and functionality significantly to suit personal preference.
Don't like tabbed browsing; turn it off.
With both the alternative browsers you can configure them to be an exact clone of IE in both appearance and function but still take advantage of the better security.
