Fab news pigpen
Ok DD2 is in bed, the other two I think have taken themselves outside to play which could be interesting as I haven't cleaned up after the dog yetSo I suppose that's my cue to get on with some work. Although going for a nap sounds so tempting :rotfl:

In my HHC I managed to do all of the washing up. I miss having a dishwasher - it was so much quicker and easier to just load and unload at each end of the cycle. Also lost internet connection but luckily had my list in a word doc. So:

3pm and nothing done yet! Not even got the excuse of work. Took the boys for new school shoes, to see Santa, to Mcdonalds and then to soft play. Ds1 is now colouring in and DS2 is watching The Polar Express which arrived today so everyone is quiet.
Time to get on with something practical. Cup of tea and a few sneaky chapters of my Ngaio Marsh I think.....
No, I shall force myself to do a HHC first. 3-3.30 anyone?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Good news then pigpen!
I've been attempting to sort out the conservatory a bit - DD asked why? she says we're not going to be in here on Christmas eve you know! My thinking is though that if I clear a bit of the conservatory I can put my work stuff in there which is currently littered all around the DR.
I've also loaded the WM and sorted DD's Christmas lights for her.
Wondering whether to nip to Kidsgrove as I wanted to see if the Home Bargains there had got hte throws I wanted but may just leave it until tomorrow. Better get dressed soon though - before DH gets in around 5 anyway!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

... .... And as sick as this sounds at least its only signed off her..... when sarah was born she signed the congratulations card off her and FIL who had died 15 days previously which really upset both me and OH lots .
Maybe she didnt do it on purpose and just "forgot" but i have gritted my teeth every card ive opened off her since.. just in case....
Given what you have told us about your MIL I can see why you would be upset at that but I do remember it was my nephew's b'day less than 2 weeks after DH died and I could not bring myself not to put DH's name on the card. I deliberated over it for hours, do I include his name or not, do I even send a card (as I was certainly not in the mood) or not. In the end I did put his name on because it felt right for me. My sis understood why and was ok with it. I always put DH's name on A & W's b'day cards.
Just wanted to put the other side of the coin so to speak, hope I haven't cause offence/upset as it is not my intention.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
