and the kitchen is in for its annual big clean....(my heart brimeth over with anticipation)...

At least the kids wont make a mess while stuck in front of various tellys..

and tonight I have the grand adventure of wrrapping to lookforward to....

I think I might break a habbit of 15 years and get compleatly rat faced.....

I wonder if liquers would do it.........

probably not and they are meant to be a present...

I emptied and filled the DW, S&S'd the kitchen and sorted the contents of the fridge out. Binned a carrier bag of stuff, think my macaw needs to be stop wasting so much stuff.

My food processor has died. The lid is cracked and so is the plastic central thing the blades go on. This is the second one I have had in six years and it does get used regularly. I know I want one that grates, does pastry/cake mixes, and that can make dough so I can get rid of the bread maker. Any recommendations? DH is threatening to get me the Kitchenaid one that won on the gadget show a few weeks ago but I am not keen on spending quite that much on anything, never mind on a kitchen thing.

Well, the rain thwarted me with the car cleaning so I didn't do that. But, I did get the last Christmas present and finished wrapping everything. Have also taken the nets down from the front room and bunged them in the washing machine.

I'm now going to sit down and work on my Christmas day menu and write a list of the perishables I need to buy tomorrow.

In my HHC I managed to clean the bathroom thoroughly instead of a S&S. Realised that OH has used all of the Harpic Power Toilet cleaner up, so will have to add that to the list. Update:

    Monday Mayhem..
    1. Go back to shops for OH's crackers for lunchboxes & toilet cleaner.
    2. Buy present for Nana then wrap (last on list)
    3. Mop Floors in bathroom and kitchen
    4. Clean the oven and hob ready for your feast!
    5. Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
    6. Change any bedding you need to
    7. Catch up on the laundry - put another load in the machine.
    8. Phone someone you 'forgot' to post a card to in time.. just so they know you've not forgotten them...
    9. Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself.. reading.. relaxing.. goggling... remember you are important too.
    10. Change pet bedding and wash blankies etc.. we don't want them putting you off your christmas sprouts!
    11. Dust round the whole downstairs
    12. Do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Off to Sainsbugs now to find the crackers and Harpic Power Plus cleaner, which according to mysupermarket are 2 for £2.50 there and would be cheaper there even if they weren't on offer. Will also see if I can find anything in there for my Nan (nice plants etc). See you all later.

Back from shopping but haven't got any of the food shop yet. Town was packed and ended up at the chemist twice because the gp's didn't send the script down. Then of course one of the tablets isn't there.

Right better get the cattle done and something to eat.

    Pigpen, well done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.

I've caught up now, pigpen Huzzah! well done gal :T oh and todays list is fab! wont do much off it but it's fab anyway.

You've all been busy bees today I'm tired just reading, I'm not doing anything, I've quite simply had my fill of cleaning.....It's not too bad anyway cause I left a list for teenie so he's done the TD/DW/S&S'd kitchen and the rest is ok. Will probs go at it like a bull at a gate tomorrow when I've finally finished work for xmas. Picking DD1 up from work at 6pm then going to brave Asda *shudders* it might not be too bad, but first I'm off for a lie down in a dark room where it's quiete cause I'm sick of the world today lol

    laters lovelies :hello: x

oh and someone (teenie! but he denies it  ) has eaten the biggest part of my tin of Roses since errr yesterday!
