Why is when I've been to two supermarkets today, do I have another shopping list with 7 items on it?
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    juliejim...same here!

We have vague peace here and long may it continue. They're all watching telly now whilst dinner cooks. The big two have been making peppermint creams and they didn't eat all of it :rotfl:

vivw...I have more things to get as well although Mr G only went to one shop. He says that everything else either wasn't there or the fruit and veg were manky.

    Hiya
Well the DN came and there's still about two inches that hasn't knitted together. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! However, on a positive note she's said I can have a shower every morning and then clean and dress the wound myself. She's also said I can go out for short walks now. Yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!! She's going to come back once a week from now on until it heals. Just thought of another positive too...i've still not got my appetite back so with any luck i'll be losing weight despite it being Christmas:rotfl: .

DH is home and feeding the children. He's off to do the christmas food shop later tonight too. There are lots of benefits to not being able to do much :D xx

MEN!!! Anyone need a spare one this year? Just spent 10 minutes putting something for his boss/his wife together for Christmas, we were going to pick something up today for them but as we didn't get there....anyway recycled 2 bottles of wine we don't drink (won in raffles but nice ones) and a gift set I got for my birthday and probably won't use. He tells me last minute. He's bought nothing at all this year and just expects everything to have been done.

Right, been having a think, see if I can get the last few things, it's mainly additions for presents, cellotape, gift tags/bags. I think I can get what I need from the supermarket, well I hope, hope to get the shopping I need from the supermarket at the same time. So it's either.....

Brave - Mr T/Asda/Sainsburys now. Problem with this is taking the boys with me who are a bit 'hyper'.
    or
Stupid - Stay up until DP finishes work at 3am or something silly and do it, meaning I will of course be shattered tomorrow but will be up most of the evening cleaning whichever I do. Problem with this I think is the later it gets, the less there will be left.
One day I might be more organised...........

Good news Mudders! (apart from the stitches of course) - but take it easy with the walking - don't over do it. And don't take spotty dotty poppy floppy flappy puppy on the lead yet - let someone else do that!
