 Just about to go to bed I think. My throat is sore and my neck is so stiff I can't turn my head and I feel rubbish :( Being ill always spoils thing so I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have done.

Got a new food processor from my parents though :) I'm supposed to be cooking for tomorrow lunch so I hope I do feel better!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

  • Hope you have all had a lovely day.

Dinner went to plan, we had pheasant in port & chestnut sauce which was delicious. Managed to fit in xmas pud & brandy cream.....then at tea time xmas & birthday cake (for DS) so filling rather stuffed now:rotfl:

Pressies all exchanged, looks like we may be hitting the sales tomorrow though with cash & vouchers...should be fun:j

Enjoy what's left of the day xx

I'm not 58 anymore - I'm 36 - we had the wii board thing back to front so the challenges were - well extra challenging. Kids all in bed so hubbie and I having a nice time on it!

I'm feeling mean - but it needed to be done. Another of DS's friends popped round about 8pm a little bit worse for wear and more than a little bit loud. I have now asked him to leave because I want to go to bed knowing there'll be no more noise for anyone.

I wonder how long it'll take before he does go!

Good luck with that Soappie - I'm heading up myself, it's the end of a long day. Sleep tight.

    Here just in time!

Had a great day, a few tears (ok quite a few) when we took flowers to DH but other than that a great time as had by all :D

Kids loved their presents, W seemed to really like the Mirror Lego that Miss A got for him!

They have just gone to bed less than 30 mins ago  after a round of visiting, eating and unwrapping!!!!

I am about to head off to bed myself. MIL's tomorrow so will need luck there lol

Pigpen I hope you have a happy birthday :D

    Night all xx

Fortunately DS's friend has gone quietly. Got a little bit of flak off DS about kicking his friends out but all is calm now and I'm forgiven. So, I'll make my way to my bed. But, before I do that, and as it's after midnight and officially boxing day

PIGPEN - MANY HAPPY RETURNS OF THE DAY

    Happy birthday Pigpen!!!
Dusty my veg went crap too hun, sprouts were the worst but luckily just me eats them. :rotfl: @ wii fit back to front, I still make that mistake and we've had ours ages
soappie not mean at all, I don't cope with drunk people well

Back from DPs Dad's until 10.45pm, kids now in bed, DSs got spoilt as usual, they behaved very well (made sure DS2 had plenty of meds before we went) which was great even giving out cuddles which is almost unheard of! Drank more than a bottle of wine, oooops!!! Instead of eating meat left overs we've actually opened matchmakers, DP however keeps stealing the stuffing......might have to cook the batch I put in the freezer for sandwiches. DPs sat very happily laughing so much he's waking the kids up at his new DVD (Search for Jeff Dunham on youtube if you're curious) I'm pleased it arrived just on time as he loves it.

Dishwashers on with most of the stuff in from dinner.

**Edited to add** goodnight everyone x
One day I might be more organised...........

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday pigpen - hope you have a wonderful day - has everything gone out of the hamper yet?

Hope everyone had a brilliant day yesterday.

Woke up at 2.30 and couldn't get back to sleep so after about an hour thought I'd get up and catch up with you all - I'll go back to bed in a min and try again to go back to sleep. Out pretty much all day today - pub for lunch with DH's family, then my parents' tonight for tea and party.

    Have a good day all
