Afternoon all

Dinner was not great here - my lack of smell made it hard to cook and I didn't like the taste of the turkey (I love turkey) veg I'd overcooked all in all disgusting! Everybody else ate there's and said it was nice but I didn't think so and no it's not me being perfect - my dinners are usually ok.

Feeling shattered now. But then I am 58! well according to the new wiifit Mum so kindly brought the kids!

Hope you have all had a brilliant day, and will be getting the hyper chillies to bed soon. My 2 will be off to bed in an hour or less lol.

Max had a lovely play with my brothers dog today(we wnet to my mams for dinner).
We've just got home and are going to relax and do nothing tonight!!

I got a BREADMAKER!!!!!!! Thank you Santa lol.
Lots of arty stuff, and some candles, incence and lot of smellies.

Right better get back to the family and put exhausted kiddies winks to bed!!!!
probably wont be on much for the rest of the week. Will pop in, but will catch up properly with flying next week.
I am taking some time off!!!!

My Christmas dinner turned out OK, always a mad last minute juggle with the cooker and getting everything ready together but I did it. We ate about 12.30 and I'm still full up. Will have supper about 8pm I think! DD1 and her partner went back home about 4pm and DD2 has just gone to her new flat. Just me, DH and DS now.

I had some lovely Thorntons and a book and a candle and some bath stuff. Very pleased

OOOOHHHHHH.............I'm stuffed! We've only just got down from the table. We eat dinner late here! Yummy gobbler, fab pig, and super veg. Ahhhhhh.
Yum. Just us today. Ace, no pressure.

Tomorrow my Mum, Step-dad, Uncle, Best Friend and DD, and Other Friend are coming for buffet lunch.

Right, off to clear up a bit and watch Dr Who on the V+.

Just sneaking on for 5 mins Hope you've all had a lovely day, not caught up yet but will later or tomorrow morning. Fab day here, up at 7am, GD DS DIL visited (GD's first xmas awwwwww) in-laws visited, kids spoilt me spoilt OH gorgeous! Just had cheese and crackers and stuff, had the big dinner about 1 this avo. Wrapping paper disposed of, pressies piled and then taken upstairs by the kids (littleys still out though) hoovered, S&S'd kitchen, DW etc. Watching tele tonight, The Royle Family amongst other things.

Got home about an hour ago. Its been a brilliant day and Im shattered.

We went to see mum and she really enjoyed opening her presents and looking at them. DD bought her a shawl which she wanted wrapped round her. She loves being wrapped up and always wants a blanket over her legs.

Xmas lunch went ok and only a couple of remarks made to me when I was alone with GSs grandma. But I just sidestepped as I knew I was expected to respond.

Lovielest part of my day was my GGD cudling up and wanting me to read her Spot the Dog stories. Then her playing shops and listening to her chatting away. She has a very good imagination.

Santa has been good. I love angels and got a lovely tall wooden one off DD. Also got the usual smellies, sweets. pjs, book tokens.

Now in pjs chilling.

Yay! I won the Monopoly game!

DD has just made some fab mulled wine from a recipe from her professional cocktail maker bloke. It's really, really warming!

might just stagger up the road in a minute with a jug of it for my best friend up the road who's really, really poor this christmas..

DS and DD2 have gone off to wherever they are spending the evening (DD to BF's Mums DS probably home to play world of warcraft).

OH and I are chilling - wish there was something on the TV worth watching - well Wallace and Gromit at 8.30:D

Lunch was excelent except for the broccoli - don't know why but it was really revolting so had to bin it. Bird was delish, we have chicken (boned and stuffed with sausage meat) which was fantastic especially considering it was a £3 woopsie form ASDA - the saus meat was fron M&S and cost more than that:rotfl:
Made half the usual amount of everything and there was still leftovers so will have to rethink yet again next year


Have a lovely new teramundi - saving £2 coins for next year, Thorntons chocs and more to come tomorrow when we meet up at Ashia's flat. (She spent the day with OH's Mum and Dad). OH and I are treating ourselves to a joint new dishwasher in the sales :j

I'm back home now after spending a few hours with mum and then a few hours with dad. Got DVDs, game for my Wii, CD, books and choccies Also, my 3 TA's clubbed together and gave me a beautiful pair of earrings and a £15 Game voucher!!! Wow!!

Hope you've all had a lovely day and are not too exhausted! I have a blister on the bottom of my heal from walking from mum's to dad's - not sure why!
