    Good morning everyone,

Opened my stocking (my Mum brought it round last night even though she said last year that it'd be the last one - there were even a few bits for OH in it), and have opened a couple of pressies from OH and all of the presents from the children at school - I think they thought I smelled cos I have a huge collection of bath stuff including quite a few bath puff things. OH and I have 2 each now! It was lovely having so much to unwrap.

Off to make mince pies (or at least the pastry for them now) before I get ready to go to BIL's for Christmas lunch.

Happy Christmas everyone and I hope you all have a lovely day!

    Morning all!

I didn't sleep too well last night as I have got a sore throat and my glands are swollen, so I'm feeling sorry for myself :o

This morning I woke at 6am ish and heard DD2 crying but then she stopped so we decided to sleep a bit more, then at 7am ish I DD1 get up and I waited for her to rush in but nothing happened. So Mr G opened our door and could hear DD1 and DS discussing with each other what presents they might get :D He got back into bed and we waited for them to rush in and after 10 minutes waiting I got bored so sent Mr G to get me some painkillers and see what was happening. Then DD1 came in and said that they thought we wanted to sleep so they were going to wait till at least 8.30am to come in :rotfl: I have very considerate children :D

Just having a coffee before I go and get dressed and find some breakfast.

Hope everyone got some nice presents!

Morning all - Merry Christmas :)

One load of washing done and hung up indoors. Turkey went in at 7 am and I have to check it about 10 am. Potatoes peeled, turnips sorted and sitting in the dish, trifle made. When DD2 gets up I plan to pull out the dining room table and vacuum round and then lay the table.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Bathed and dressed but not slapped up yet - don't wear much really!

Whoopee cushion already burst - only a few uses so it will be being returned for a replacement.

Need to check the turkey again and make stuffing and peel rest of veg.
