But it is in stock on amazon and you get a free £20 carry case

Yeah but the reason for the interest in Curry's was a) the 10% discount code doing the rounds, and b) the 10% discount for paying on an egg card, only available for certain retailers (including Curry's but not including Amazon)

Made the camera (after £100 rebate) £429.94, and no-one is beating that at the moment

well i am still happy with the amazon offer, especially as it is being delivered Monday

Still as of today Currys have had none in stock all week

After ordering this camera from currys and having 2 orders cancelled Tried to order the amazon and putting in the code for the camera case does not work :-/ email to amazon - any body else with problems.

PS Went into currys on the way home and guess what they had the EOS300d in stock - I asked how many they have had in stock and they said they were getting them daily - erm lets think high price in the shop and no stock on the internet

i made that mistake!

you have to add the carry case to your basket too, then apply the code and it takes the money off

Yeah take your point about going for it from Amazon Jimbot, truth is that I can't really afford it anyway, but wouldn't be able to resist if the Curry's offer came in stock.

I hope you enjoy it, it does sound like the nuts- i've read so many reviews of it over the past few months that I feel like I know it so well!

I managed to get one of these from currys with the 10% off, ordered Monday, the day the 10% originally was set to end. It was delivered yesterday, looks ok, a bit plasticy and I can't believe they don't give you any basic memory card with it! all other digital camera's I've bought come with at least something to get you started.
