If you're on the edge of buying one of these I don't think you'll get a better deal than this but be quick as 10% discount expires 6/12/04:
http://www.currys.co.uk/product.php?sku=974956
The camera (including lens) is £579.94.
There is a code available for all for 10% discount that only runs until 6th December 2004 and it is AFF10PC (you input it at the Checkout stage) .
So after the 10% discount is applied and the delivery charge (£7.99) is taken into account you can get the camera for £529.94.
Canon are also doing £100 cashback on this camera if purchased between 1st November 2004 and 31st January 2005 (claim form available on the Currys site) meaning it will effectively cost you a measly £429.94.
And if that wasn't enough you can get a free 256MB Compact Flash card if you register your camera on the Canon website before 31st December 2004.
