As for antivirus software, I know of a very good one - Eset NOD32. Costs £23 a year but as you've no morals and don't mind thieving software, I'm sure you'll find it on Limewire or The Pirate Bay....
thanks for your advice unstoppable. As for theiving software well I have learnt my lesson the hard way as limewire is what caused me a few problems as you can see last week

but until you clean up the shadow copies and all, your disks will be fulller than need be. Plus, if your
/ is your recovery partition, then it shouldn't have much in the way of free space anyway.... ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

...and also, check which drive your backups are being saved to...you may need to specify/create a new partition for it.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

in the disk cleanup box I selected d drive then clicked more options. From there I saw a box system restore and shadow copies which says you can free up more space by removing all but the most recent restore points in some editions of vista the disk might include file shadoe copies and older windows complete pc bnackup images as part of restore points.
I then clicked clean up is this right? Nothing seems to have happened though and Im still not able to back up0
