  • These seem worth a try, (I have no connection with them):

    https://www.lovefilm.com/

Use code TIME837 for a 30 day free trial allowing 3 DVDs out at a time.

They're getting slower because of all the people, like me, who are taking advantage of their 30 day free trial ;D

They seem quite quick at sending out dvds but only if you have a long enough wish-list. They haven't managed to send any of the ones I really wanted but I keep adding titles until one that is available turns up.
  • Hi debeast

Didn't realise they traded under different names!

(Maybe they're trying to 'kill' off one of their names because of the poor service you report and relaunch as a 'new' brand)

    Here's another to try:
    https://www.screenselect.co.uk

**Use code TF31 to get a 30 day free trial - 3 DVDs at a time.

**EDIT 13/2/04 new (better) code inserted - (previous code only gave 21 days trial).

  • Thks for the link , three on the way .

How many can I get through in 21 days I wonder , is there a limit?

Off to find some more with free trials for when this ends.

But after this I shall start on some relatives addresses for more free ones !
'The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
  • Glad to help - code MP17 also entitles you to a free travel alarm (allow 28 days) and an entry into a draw to win a philips home cinema system (11 prizes).

**EDIT 13/2/04 This code number (MP17) gives a 21 day trial and the freebies mentioned here, but the new code I've posted in this thread (TF31) gives a 30 day trial - don't know if you get the freebies with this one though.
  • Does anyone know how long the prmo codes last for as I want to save the 30 day one for later .

I have phoned a few friends and many wont be going to blockbuster in the future .

The only problem is I am running out of good films to watch .

Have just started on the dvd music ones .

What about Pink Floyd live in Pompeii ?
