Hellloooooooooooooo glad you lovely peeps are still around.
Bet lots of people come back on when the weather turns chilly, they are not hardcore MSEers like us!! :rotfl:
No exciting plans for weekend, mocing fridge and washer from flat tomorrow then avoiding MIL for a few hours, Sunday do some more batch cooking for return to work tuesday (boooooooooooo!) and Monday visiting a friend. How about you lot?
Ive just batch cooked some dinners for Pip using:
3 Baby sauce mixes- £1.80 - Didnt need these I suppose but they were on offer and I had a coupon too.
3/4 Bag sweet potatoes - 80p
Chicken breast pieces - 50p (on offer)
Broccoli -52p
Cauli - 30p
Sweetcorn - 38p
Swede - 42p
Rice - In cupboard anyway so free
= £4.72
I made that into 20 portions so works out at 24p a portion so loads cheaper than 59p+ :T
Pip has been a flipping nightmare today, he refuses to lay down to sleep. Far too busy nosing what is going on around him even when in a dark room! Every nap today has been a full on war and he only gives in when he is too exhausted to carry on. Any ideas? Oh and while Ive got you, any nice finger foods I can give him?
Well off to drink wine (sorry Fay!) and watch Big Bro.

finger foods: bite size pieces of cheese, toast, mini sandwiches, cooked carrot, broccoli etc (in fact most veggies), chip size pieces of sweet potato, banana, fruit loaf............... * goes off to think of more things*
with the naps, ds1 used to a right pain and i literally used to have to bear hug him till he fell asleep. ds2 i put him down and then let him have his bottle then he doesnt have far to go in the warm milk induced sleep. found just carrying him upstairs used to wake him up and then would struggle to get him to sleep.December 2018: £20,850.24. Hello everyone
Bread sticks it is then!! I am really worried about him choking as it really scares me when he coughs and splutters like that. Figure it normal though and probably all mums feel the same.
Mummy - Ooooooooooohhhhhhhh shiny new lappy, well done x
Fay - you are doing sooooooooo well with the evil one, well done. Really want to get on with mine but will hold fire x
Rags - Thanks for nap tips x x We have managed to get him to nap on some big floor cushions we have for the last couple of days. One of us has to lie with him and he has had a bottle of water a couple of times too. OH put him in the cot for nap today and he yelled abit but then fell asleep. Makes you feel really mean though doesnt it?
Ive shampooed my entire house today and I am cream crackered! I borrowed my friends vax and did it all as Pip was crawling along and getting black! I also watched How clean is your house the other week and they showed you what was in your carpet and it made me gag to think he was rolling around in it.
Right off for a sit down and some telly x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Its my favourite too - guess that makes us both sad - waves to L - and all.
Glad Pip is having a sleep on cushions etc x
Don't worry about chucking extra to things until you know where you are - I am sailing so so so close to the wind at the moment with money - needing to be really careful PAD to evil edna may need to go down a bit as its really tight - but hanging on in there.
Whatcha upto on the bankholiday (its NOT one here)
