fab news on Pip crawling, now the trouble starts!!!
There must be a way round one day, have you no friends who would help out and you could do the same for them one day. You can post him to me if you want, my boys would love it!!!!! It would be awful to turn this down as the money would be so handy for you.
I have been called into a meeting tomorrow along with everybody else in HR to discuss restructuring, SOUNDS VERY OMINOUS, already worked out my redundancy package!!!0 -
Good grief I am sooooo worn out from running after Pip, you lot werent joking were you!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I popped him on the floor and he just went like one of those wind up cars, living room is gated and safe for him now and I have put up the pen that we were given.
Mum bought him a little buggy today, £35 from Mothercare. It will make it much easier for when she looks after him as she struggles with the ordinary pram. Might pinch it for when we go on our hols to save room in the boot.
Mum has said she will take the Thursday I need to work off so we are going to pay her "wages" for that day, means my October pay should look quite nice!
Have had a good MSE day :money:. Went into Wellingborough for a change and found an awesome cheapy shop called QD Stores. Not sure if they are national?Mummy you are so lucky that shop is near you. I bought a tea tray 99p and a teapot shaped teabag stand 49p for my Paps time for tea Christmas Hamper, an icing bag and nozzle set for when I decorate my cakes for 99p, a Latte set with 2 silvery and glass mugs with stars on 2 stirrers and saucer things £2, a pair of fleecy joggers for Pip 99p. Will definately go back before Christmas.
Also batch cooked 8 meals for when i am back at work, BBQ sausage & bean hot pots and Macaroni cheeses. Be really useful especially for the extra hours I do in September as I wont get home until 9.30pmish.
Made a curry for tea tonight, I used some leftover sauce I had previously frozen, some tiny bits of cauli from the bottom of the bag, 1 chicken breast and some spuds. Served with some naan I had in the freezer and it was really yummy and filling but really cheapy too!:T
Spends - hope today went Ok x x

Hi there
you sound very in control and focussed well done on that - and on the yummy curry - sounds ace.
So whats the plans for the first christmas - at home? We are currently in discussions about xmas - ergh. I kinda wanted to stay home, OH seems to have other ideas involving his parents - which mean instead of staying in my lovely (but rented) house with open fires and lots of space, we will be in a small flat eating xmas dinner with many others (great) in a household that barely 'does' xmas.
I only do xmas every two years so I am a bit grrish about it all - sorry to dump on wanted to hear about your lovely plans.
Really glad the childcare is sorting itself.
What house do you think you'd be in in Hogwarts - I think I'd be in Hufflepuff - although I wanted to be in GriffindyrTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Well if its any consolation our Christmas will be a bit eeekish too.
We normally stay with my Mum and Dad but OH wants to stay in our house so we will have Christmas Morning at home probably pressies in bed the evil witch MIL will want to see Pip so she will have to come round here too so queue sharp exit from me to my Mum and Dads and OH will follow later. Dinner with Mum and Dad followed by an evening walk back to ours.
I want to come to your house for Christmas!! Open fires and nice people sounds awesome, norbert can light the fires for usCouldnt they all come to you? Bit of work for you but at least you would be at home?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I think I would possibly be atoo but would be nice to be in
to be honest it would just be cool to be at Hogwarts

hi pips mum, we have a QD here is well and it's a staple shop for us, we often get diy stuff from there (just the basics) at a fraction of the costs of what you would pay in B&Q. they do really cheap but ok cards and plenty of kids clothes etc even the adults clothes aren't bad0

Its about a 20 minute drive from where I live but it was so worth going!
LT - I was looking at your signature, thats AWESOME well done!! :T:T Lucius and Diavlo the debts, I like it!1 Lol:rotfl::rotfl:
Well today I went into Orange to try and sort out a new deal on a phone as my Vodaphone contraact runs out next week. They offered me 100 minutes and unlimited texts plus a new phone for £14.50 a month BUT a 24 month contract and equifax checks. I was going to go with that so went to Vodaphone for the Pac (?) code and they offered me 100 minutes, 500 texts, no new phone but mine works fine anyway and is only just over a year old, for £9 a month and NO contract so if an ace deal comes up somewhere else I can go for it! :j:j So I will save £25 a month on phonebills and even better thenext 2 months are free:T. OH can now cancel his 3 contract and he doesnt need to renew it as he now has a work mobile which he can also use for personal calls so that will save another £35 :T:T
Thats £60 a month my household will be better off, woot woot!!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Oh dear, I am getting really frustrated that I cant start paying off some of Lucius. I know I am sensible to wait as I have no idea how much money I will get in September (know it will be a pants amount tho) but want to get cracking on him.:D
OH gets paid tomorrow so he can pay my Dad back the £100 he lent us so that will be £100 off total. Nothing else though, humph!
Isnt it quiet on the forum at the moment? Where is everyone? Its not like they are out enjoying the gorgeous weather  we are having is it? Lol! :rotfl::rotfl:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

I am about too - trying to not read so much during day (work beckons) and life is a bit chaotic at home with a student traffic jam in my house.
Hang on in there and you will be able to 'sensibly' chuck more money at Lucius when you know where you are at. Patience my young disciple or whatever the grasshopper man says.
Whatcha doing at the weekend??
Boards do seem quieter - mebbe cos you englanders are in 'school holiday' mode still - we went back 2 weeks ago.
