    Whoop whoop 3 days!!
Yum that virtual choc was just what I needed rags!!

Well today I have been gardening. I sent off for some free seeds from a magazine and they arrived so I have sown them. There are salad onions, cabbage mix, broccoli, carrots, beetroot, lttuces, tomato, parsley, basil and rocket.
Hope they all grow as that lot should keep us in veg for a while.

Won 20p on scratchey and have had loads of surveys.

M+S had a massive 50% sale so I got Pip some clothes and most I paid was £3.

Sat down with OH and worked out our next months budget ooooooooo its going to be so tight.

Thanks for the kicks guys, seems to have worked x x

  • Hi,
Hope you don't mind me popping in. I really sympathise re your MIL.
When my daughter was born my oh's mum and grandmother kept 'popping over' unexpectedly - I hated it. I was in chaos, struggling to keep on top of washing up, house a mess etc - my lowest point came when daughter had kept me up most of the night and had finally fallen asleep around 11am, so I went to bed and next thing I knew I could hear MIL calling my name, walking round the house and peering in the windows! I hid and pretended I wasn't in!
I know they meant well; they were just excited about the baby. After they left I found they had left some flowers on the door and I felt really guilt.
Anyway, hang in there, I found that the in-laws demands had subsided quite a bit as shes grown up. At 3 years old, I have to invite us round there to ensure she sees them!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

    Hello All

Thanks Redstar glad its not just me. It wouldnt be as bad if MIL had kind intentions but she really hasnt, she just wants to get 1 up on my mum. It puzzles me that someone as bitter and twisted as her can have produced something as lovely as my OH!!

Anyhoo, lodger situation still stinks. He has been suspended and has not been paid, he owes me £300 and a £150 gas and electric bill. Its worrying me a lot.

I just won a book in the Galaxy choc wrapper competition so I am happy. I selected a book that I know my Aunt would like, thats her Birthday present sorted!!!

Pip is teething so is VERY grumpy. We can see 1 little toothy peg just beginning to come through under his gums. Going to try some teething gel and see if that helps. He made me feel SOOOOOOOO guilty. It was 4am and he was screaming due to his teeth. I took him downstairs and sat him on he sofa propped on the cushions. I went in the kitchen to get a bottle of water for him to suck on and when I got back he had stropped so much he was sat on the floor!! He had wobbled off by himself!!!
He was NOT happy, when I tried to kiss him he pushed me away and wouldnt look at me while he drank his milk this morning!! Think he has forgiven me know luckily but it upset me.

Have a lovely weekend all, we are not going out at all. Going to hide away and relax.

Well done on the book win PM!

I do hope your poor little mite was alright after falling off the sofa! They're always too young for that, unless someone's with him and right by his side so he's unable to be at risk of falling. I'm hoping the teething gel will have soothed the awful pain that comes with teething, i always feel so sorry for them at that stage, bless 'em, it must feel so miserable.

I hope your lodger soon gets work and pays all he owes! Have a lovely weekend PM, all of you too!

    Good luck.

    Sue

    Hi All

Hope you all remembered earth Hour last night?
We left the lights and TV off all night and played board games by candlelight and drank a bottle of wine, it was really nice and think of the electric money we saved!!

Sue Pip is fine Thank you, he didnt so much fall as slip. Think I was more bothered than he was!!

Another NSD going to catch upon some Sky+ things and make a roast dinner. Potter in garden if I get a chance, my cabbage seeds have grown loads.

Opened Pips CTF yesterday and got £50 cashback and £30 of Boots vouchers so i was really pleased.

    Hello Everyone

Not been on for a few days as I got VERY miserable about money again :(

Have asked dodgy lodger to move out and he will be gone by end of the week, trouble is he owes us £1280  and has now lost his job so has no way of paying it back. I feel very stressed as now I dont know what to do. I dont want to risk another dodgy lodger but if I sell the flat it probably wont make the money that I paid for it.

Anyhoo I am back and MUST MUST MUST try to stay positive.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  cant get ticker to post but I have paid off £2929.20 which is 16.7% of my total woohoo!!!

I am a bit more back on track and motivated now so hopefully will stay there.

Dodgy lodger has moved out :T
I am relieved that he has gone as at least bills wont be mounting up unpaid.

Its my Birthday on Monday so we are having a nice long weekend, friends coming on Sunday for dinner rather than us paying to go out.

    Feeling much happier x x

  • well done pipsmum on paying so much off your total!!!!!!!

with the ticker, i click on it from the top left hand corner and drag to the bottom right hand corner so there should be a blue box covering it, then i right click, copy and paste onto my page. Think am gonna wait till ive paid more of my debt off before i do one for my total debt, not paid very much off complete total..................... was gonna do one for each of the debts but thought that might be too anal!!!!!! ha ha ha!!!!

glad dodgy lodger is no more!!!!!!! and yay for getting back on track.............

Have a good day tomorrow and a happy birthday, hope you get spoilt rotten!!!!!!
