Silly isnt it Mum2one you would have thought they would have taken Pip into account too.

Bless little ones Mummy not surprised they didnt fancy getting wet!

Live chat would be a genius idea Rags, but lifes not that easy right!

So officially both of us are bums now! :rotfl::rotfl:
Going to ring everybody tomorrow Morning and see what we can manage to find out, trouble is you then have to wait about 2 weeks for the decisions to come why they couldnt tell you there and then I don't know.

Spoke to Nursery about dropping Pip down to 1 morning a week over the summer 9he gets early years grant for 15 hours free nursery but its only term time) and she said it wasnt a problem. Going to look at the Surestart centre where he goes for Stay and Play to see if there are other things he could go to like messy play or active tots, each session is only £1 and would break up the day for him and mean I have a little less time to try and entertain him!! He definately gets into mischief if not amused. Been doing a letter of the week with him since Ive been off, different crafts and activities and he loves it.

Had to pop to town so had a look at a few sales to see if there was anything for Christmas presents, to be honest it was all a load of rubbish. Did get 4 Fireman Sam books for Pips Christmas in the £1 shop and also a PJ all in 1 that looks like a Firemans outfit, £5 in Primarni.

    Hey All

Had a nice but very wet day at Silverstone for British GP, we saw 2 practice sessions and a lot of the drivers. Tickets were already bought as a Christmas pressie for OH so we figured we may as well use them an enjoy them still. Was very MSE and took sarnies, snacks and drinks, only spent £4.20 on a hot chocolate and a coffee as it was freezing later on and the flask was empty! Will do the same for tomorrow and Sunday.

Never mind though I wont have all these money worrys when I meet Jenson Button tomorrow as we WILL CLEARLY be getting married in the near future ;)

Well what a weird weekend! Rained all day Friday and Saturday at Silverstone and then was bright sun for the actual raceday on Sunday! Had a great time and was very MSE and took flask and snacks both days so only spent about £20 on food/ drinks and £20 on a race bear for Pip. Sunday night we were both cream crackered so we did have a Dominos pizza delivered but I used the 50% off code from here so not as bad as it could have been.

Mr Pips has had lots more interviews so just waiting to hear, one he has probably got but its a lot less than we need and involves petrol to get there but it is better than JSA pays! Will keep you all posted.

Rang Tax Credits and also council tax benefit and we might be going to get a little bit from each of them, just waiting to hear. Sent off my Maternity Allowance claim form today so again will keep you posted when I hear.

Just got my Mothercare card statement and found I had overpaid thm and was £96 in credit! So I have cancelled the card and they are refundng it back to my account.

    So debts at minute are:

    Next £0!!!:T
    MBNA £700
    Tesco £600
    Mothercare £0!!! :T
    Egg Loan £2292

Total debt remaining now is £3592!!! :j:j

Got a few bargains in the Argos clearance sale, got a fur real walking go go puppy for my good friends grandaughter £50 down to £14!! She is a lovely little girl and doesnt have many nice things, her mum and dad both have learning difficulties and they live on very little money so I like to treat her.

Got my Next sale VIP registration for Thursday morning so will hopefully be able to get Pip some "next size up" clothes and also some bits I can give to other littlies as presents.

Been for my Glucose Tolerance test today at the hospital, much better this time than with Pip as they did it with Lucozade which stayed down more easily! Had to drink 3 big glasses of it though

Well thats all my news, over to you! x x

    Thanks LT

He heard back from a couple of interviews today. One he didnt get because he was too honest!!! Another they said he wasnt right for the role he intrerviewed for as he was too experienced but they want him to go back tomorrow to interview for another role they are recruiting for which they think he will be better suited too :-)

Managed my 3rd NSD for July, am aiming for 20 but not sure I will manage it.

Microwave has gone kapput, it thinks it should be cooking all the time!!! Will have to replace it over the weekend, under £40 in Argos so not too dreadful I suppose but all extra money to find.

    Oh B*ms!

The job that seemed quite promising rang him earlier and said he hadn't got the job so back to square one :( Its a bit annoying really as he has been for 3 interviews with them and travelled about 100 miles, think of the petrol money thats wasted

Rang A&L again to see if they would do anything about mortgage, they have put the account on hold until the end of the month when we have to ring them again with an update.

My EGG loan was sold to Britannica Moorgate and is £118 a month so will try and ring them tomorrow to see if they will pop it on hold or reduce the monthly payment. Because Ive made the big payments to other CCs those monthly payments are at least a lot lower. We need to ring RBS as well and see if they will do something about the car loan which is £200 a month.

Positives - Went to Mr Ms and got the week shop for £40.88 :T it actually would have been lower but I wanted to get the 6p off a litre voucher they have got at the minute so I bought a few bits of meat to shove in freezer for another week.

Checked bank and £14.55 CTC has been put into my account, better than nothing!

Feeling a bit miserable about it all but then I think to myself stressing isn't going to change the situation so just see what happens and go with the flow! I know its not for want of trying he hasnt got anything and its just a bit laughable really that I should get made redundant within weeks of his contract ending whilst I am 6.5 months pregnant, you couldn't make it up could you!!

Mum2one yep glucose must have been ok as they still havent contacted me. Pea is wiggling about and happy and Pip is being very loving and actually a very nice little boy not a tearaway monster like he was a couple of weeks ago! :rotfl:

    Bit more positive today :)

Rang through to Moorgate for loan and they are sending me paperwork to do a SOA to reduce payments.

Also rang and spoke to a really lovely lady at Blackhorse about the car loan and she did SOA over the phone when I told her how much we are currently getting ( my JSA, Child benefit and now Child tax credit = £379 a month) she went "oh wow!" she has reduced the payments from £200 a month to £41 :T for next 3 months when hopefully we will be a bit more settled.

Have had a bit of a spendy 24 hours but its all valid and justified and am really pleased with what value I got :D

Last night I saw on the Winter thread here that VERY had a sale on their Winter sheets, so I looked at ISME as I already have a (zero balance!) account with them. They also had them on offer, reduced in sale to £4 and still BOGOF!! :D So I got 4 flannelette single sheets for Pips Room, 4 flannelette doubles for in our room, 6 flannelette pillowcases for the 2 rooms, a single and a double fleece matress protector all for £30 :T Obviously we will have to have the house warm for Pea but I want to have it as low as comfortably possible so these will make sure we are all nice and toastie and will last for many Winters to come.

Did another dotcomgiftshop Sale order and got some more Christmas presents. They have handbag umbrellas like these http://www.dotcomgiftshop.com/folding-umbrella-redwhite-spot?all=1&price=0-5&ctid=5187&pos=213 £12.95 now £1.29  so got 1 of them and 1 of the little folding shopping bags (£1) to match to give to each of the ladies who take care of Aidan at Nursery and also the Surestart centre ladies, present will look so much more than the actual £2.29 it cost me! :T Paid with Paypal as all of my Christmas presents are "FREE" as I use my sales from Ebay/Surveys to pay for them all.

Went to Sainsbugs today as saw they had their frozen chicken fillets bags half price. Bought 4 packs, cost £8 but will last us ages and save us a fair bit as the ones I normally buy in Mr Ms are £4 each bag. They also had Huggies wipes buy 1 get 2 free, so got 6 packs, I had a 50p off dettol voucher which I used too as they had it on offer. All in all in the one shop I saved just under £20 :j

Went into Boots to claim my free changing bag from their parent club, you had to buy 1 pack of Pampers newborn nappies to get the bag free. They had the Newborn carry packs 2 for £6, I had a voucher for £2 off and another for 50p off and the till let me use them both so got 54 nappies and a change bag for £3.50 :j

Last of all went to Argos for new microwave, its not technically an essential I know but man does it make life easier! Got a Cookworks silver one reduced to £39.99, Pip needed his first pillow so got some anti allergy, anti bac ones for £7, and also got me and Mr Pips 2 Silentnight ones, were £19.99 now £7.99 :)

Just won 2 Moses basket sheets on Ebay for £3 with £2 postage and they are £10 in the shop so another little saving.

So as I say I have spent about £120 but have got tonnes for it and saved................wait for it....................... £321 :j:eek::j:eek:

    Have a good Saturday everyone x x

thats brill news with the debts front, as you say 3 mths will give u some breathing space.
If you do need a dmp its worth looking at cccs (there on the site) there free of charge, I intially did all the work with them but mangaged to neogioate a self managed dmp, but would highly recommend them.

You got some brill bargains. xxx
