Ha ha ha! Thanks Stripey one, I hope that you used plenty of sunblock on me though as I burn easily :-)
Well a peedie update (as someone we know and love would say!)
Nothing on job front for Mr Pips still, he has had 3 interviews this week though. He is climbing walls so have set him about some of the "been meaning to dos" around the house. So far the kitchen is being painted with paint we bought ages ago but never got round to doing, you know how it is! Next stop living room with some Magnolia that a painter decorater friend of ours has let us have for nothing as he had it left over from a job :Tn
Had a right faff with Job centre on Tuesday  My sign on day is Monday but because OH was coming on Tuesday and we were told it was a joint claim they advised me not to go to my sign on and attend with him on Tuesday which is what we did. Well it turns out Ive gone down as a failed to attend and its now got to go to an appeal panel to see if I have reasonable cause for not attending!!!!:mad::mad::mad: Anyway we were filling in the paperwork and I noticed it said Income based job seekers allowance, well I get contribution based and I was sure OH would to so we queried it and we can actually do 2 seperate claims rather than a joint one so we will be £30 better off than we thought.
Was all on course for a NSD, hooray I think to myself! Go to Mums and she says can you just nip me to Morrisons, no problems I thought, I am going tomorrow anyway so I don't need anything........................................wa lked past the fruit and veg oooopsie stand and what do I see but large packs of mushrooms, packs of bananas (LO is a monkey I am sure!) and massive lumps of broccoli all reduced to just 29p each! Well I couldnt leave them there knowing for well I would be paying full price tomorrow so bang went another NSD! Did get 2 huge broccolis, 12 bananas and 2kg of mushroom for £1.74 though so cant moan can I ! :T
Pip gets 15 hours free nursery at the moment but its only term time so from next week we would have had to pay £300  cannot afford that at the moment so have dropped him down to just Fridays (food shop day!) so he doesnt get out of loop of going. Got the Summer programme from the Surestart centre we go to and they have loads of fab stuff I can take him too for just £1 a session :T Booked him in for Stay & play that we go to anyway, active tots, messy play, a Teddy bears picnic, a meet the bugs session and also a farm day. Theres also a trip to the indoor play centre and a family photoshoot session that I might take him for too. They are all so lovely there and I know he is going to love the activities
Anyway all for now, hugs to all that pass by

went to midwife today and all is good, glucose came back normal so defo not diabetic. She said even though I have a tiny bump I am still measuring right so not to worry and Pea is probably just well towards my back which is the same as Pip was. Heartbeat all good too :-)
Did my Mr Ms shop and it came to £42, this included £3.50 for beer for decorater friend for paint he gave us, £4 of mince for freezer and £2 for 2 Birthday cards so really it was only £32.50 for the week :T
Its been like the post office here today! Had deliveries from dotcomgifts, approved foods, Next sale and Halfcost! Can't put most of it away yet as OHs in kitchen painting it, living room looks like a small bomb has gone off as Pip has "helped" me undo boxes and have a good rummage! LOVE all the dotcomgiftshop bits, amazing bargains there.

Hello Everyone!
I am VERY, VERY annoyed with Mr Pips today as I checked our mobile phone bills, we are both on same tariff, and he has overspent on his by £31!!! Includung an £8 call to his flipping mother :mad: who lives 5 minutes away. Mine was over by £5 but that was only to the tax office and jobcentre on 0845s which I had no choice but to ring. Anyhooo as soon as he gets home I will be yelling, in fact you will probably hear me from wherever you are!
Did an Approved Foods order yesterday, spent £46 so got free delivery and it reckons I've saved £98 :T Got pleanty of sauces for cheap teas and also some bread mixes, biscuits and cakey bits.
Got roofer man on my roof fixing tiles as I type, must confess we are going to be "morally wrong" as he is having it cash in hand. Don't care what the MP says he would soon do all he could to save a couple of quid if he was living on 2 sets of JSA. So hopefully it will fix the leak and I can go back to not having a water feature in my bathroom everytime it rains!
Mr Pips is decorating my Kitchen using big tub of magnolia friend gave us, its coming a long and is nearly finished which I am relieved about as the mess and dust is horrendous.
Right off to go and meal plan, hiding away in the living room as its so, so hot here at the minute. I don't want the rain back but a teensy bit cooler would be appreciated!

Oh dear I think maybe Mr Pips should be in hiding. Glad you're OK - visions of you clambering over boxes of delights to get around the place.
Sounds like you've done well on the shopping, keep up the good work!!!
Nowt much going on here aside packing - peedier house to move into soon. More 'arghish' at the moment than excited but I'm sure that will come.keep up the stirling work
lovely to hear your updates.

Mr Pips is still alive, just! Being a man he couldnt possibly be over his usage and it MUST be the phone company that are wrong, cue much studying by him of his online bill to discover of course it IS him! :rotfl:
I got a letter telling me we will be getting £176 WTC/ CTC a month, sad to say I am so wary of it. I just worry so much that they will turn round at a later point and say it was wrong and I will have to try and pay it back. It says its based on Mr Pips working 37 hours and me working none but of course he isn't working at the minute either, don't want to rattle the hornets nest though incase they put it up again and I end up having to pay even more back!
They also automatically sent 2 NHS exemption cards, both currently exempt anyway as he has Epilepsy and obviously I have the maternity, thought it was quite good of them to send them though. :T
Had a nice chat with the play leader at our surestart centre today when I took Pip for stay and play. She asked me how we were managing and had I booked Pip into any extra sessions over the Summer whilst his nursery isn't free, I said I had but didn't like to take up too many activities as it would take spaces away from people who really needed them and she said "but YOU really need them at the minute". She said I shouldn't feel guilty about accepting help whilst I needed it, but of course I do!
Having a lazy afternoon now as he has finished decorating but the dust is everywhere, its also really hot here at the minute so cleaning up nearly killed me!
