Friday 30th March, the day I officially became a Stay at Home Mummy!
I had a lovely last day at work and was treated to some beautiful flowers, a lovely white orchid in a pretty pot, cards, a cute little doggy and also £30 of Boots Vouchers. My colleagues decorated my desk for me with shiny stars and a huge banner, I had cuddles and kisses all day from Friends, emails came through all day wishing me luck and many tissues were used to mop up my tears. Aren't I a lucky girl!
I was very upset to be leaving but have woken up today feeling refreshed and happy with my New job.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

My first day of "retirement" was lovely and made me stop and think "hmmmmm this IS why I stopped working".
It started with some pottering around whilst Pip had breakfast, I did some washing up and then put on a couple of loads of laundry. When he has finished we sat and watched one of his favourite programmes together before going upstairs to tackle the folding and putting away. He `helped' me by sorting which clothes were his and which were mine or Daddy's.
After dinner we walked into the Town, a 10-15 minute walk, and we bought a huge bag of bananas for £1 and a bag of mixed seedless grapes for 70p. We popped to The Early Learning Centre and I was really pleased to find they have a sale on so for £5 we managed to get a huge bottle of yellow paint and one of pink, 4 finger paint pots in primary colours, a huge bucket of jumbo chalks for drawing in the garden and 4 paint brushes of different sizes. Whilst in Town we also popped into the Library.
By the time little legs had walked back from Town they were flagging a little so once home we sat and ate a Pink Strawberry bun each then both had a nap! That's right BOTH had a nap!
New one is going to be called Pea, going for scan tomorrow so will be nice to see if they are healthy and well. Sickness has been really bad again last 2 days but on whole still less than I had with Pip.

Sounds like you both had a lovely time then. Pip must be pleased to have the extra time to spend chilling with Mummy.
Sounds like some good buys from ELC - will have to pop in when I'm passing tomorrow and have a look if there's anything good in my one. Was planning on getting some paints and bits anyway soon, so hopefully might be able to grab something bargainous!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
