Wow! I know you may not feel it - but it does sound like you are more organised than you think.

Fingers crossed for you that the agents are able to find a buyer quickly for the flat, and that everything all goes smoothly x

Had my "career transition" 1-2-1 today and she was a really nice lady, came up with lots of suggestions I hadn't thought of and is sending me on a workshop next week.

Was reading a thread on here last night and everybody was talking about how they *ahem* re-direct loo roll from work!!! Some were blatant and took whole rolls and others just take a few turns worth at a time. Made me laugh, something else I can get out of the company before I leave maybe :rotfl::rotfl:

Part of my Regatta order came today, just the shoes arrived so far but they are really nice and will be dead warm and comfy for winter.

My Baker Ross order came too so I can get cracking on the Christmas Crafts now. :xmassmile

Estate Agents coming out tomorrow so will let you know how it goes. Heard back from Housing Association and they've given me permission to put it straight on open market with no exclusive time for them only. :T

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nothing else I dont think so will go and have a nose round here and catch up.

Was that the 'what's the worst thing you've done when skint' (or words to that effect) thread? I was reading that this morning and loved how many people were admitting to stealing toilet roll. (Not quite as bad as borrowing the neighbours cat though, if you saw that one!! :D )
Made me wonder why I haven't done it! I used to be a bit of a snob when it came to toilet paper. Probably as it was always Andrex when I lived with my parents. Have stepped down to commoner level though now and buy the Discount Brand one from Tesco, which is actually pretty okay!

I don't think I could bring myself to take it from work though. Not for any sort of moral reason, just that it's a bit sand paper-esque!! In fact I'm sure there used to be one lady who used to do the opposite and keep nice toilet paper from home in her locker!

That must balance out the toilet roll stealing ratios in the universe!!

    Helloooo All!

I am a cautiously happy Pips Mum today.

Estate Agents came round and did valuations top end was £57,000 with a view to reducing it (??) lowest was £52,000 so its now on the market for £53,995 so fingers crossed:D. Its already on their website and will be on Rightmove by tomorrow!:j He was optimistic of selling it within 6 weeks but we shall see. Fees will be £1600+VAT and I am going to get some solicitors quotes done but he estimated them to be another £1500. Will keep you posted.

Went to Opticians today, needed new specs and have to have thinned down lenses so I am now £160 lighter . I previously ordered a new pair online and was never happy or convinced they were done right so I am happier having had someone else do them as I now have someone to blame LOL!

Turned REALLY cold here but refuse to put heating on so sitting in a blanket! Can't wait for Big Brother to start later, whoop whoop!!

you're progressing quicker than us on the flat selling front, we've the last estate agent coming round tomorrow and an appointment to put it on the market on saturday unless the ones tomorrow wow us. So far we've been estimated 85 down to 80 and then 80 down to 75 so i'm kind of stumped, we really need at least 80 but i do want to sell as we've found OUR house. think i'll average the three when they come tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed yours sells.
