Hello Im here for my "not nearly often enough" post!

Hope you are all doing well?

I have been offered a 3 month secondment in a level 3 (im level 2) role starting in September, after the secondment is over they will be interviewing for the role in a permananent capacity. Only trouble is it is full time BUT I am going to go for it anyway. So for at least 3 months I will be getting Full time money and on an enhanced salary so I should be able to make some good chunky payments off the debts. I am also looking to start to save some house deposit money as I want to move so badly, there are some lovely houses on the market for great prices but I know we wouldnt cover the mortgage if we sold this one now.

Ummmm payday tomorrow so i will be back to update what payments Ive made.

    Thanks for the encouragement Mum2one!

Its rubbish that the secondment is Full time but the money will definately be useful.

Ive got to Tax the car this month, booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! But we are considering getting rid of her as I still cant drive at them minute because of the dizzy wizzys and to be honest we are managing quite well, add this to the fact she needs about £500 of work doing to her and its swinging more in the direction of selling her. Is it wrong that I am quite so attached to a car? LOL!

I have paid off £308.46 this month. Made JUST over Minimum payments on each doubt I will pay off much more as I have to pay for the car tax this month.

    So I now owe:
    MBNA - £4255
    Mothercare - £640
    Next - £140
    Tesco - £2390
    Mum - £730
    EGG - £4711

    = £12, 866noway.gif
So far this year I have paid off £2087.63 fireworks.gif(Dont get too excited as interest isnt included as im not that clever!)

I havent spent any money on clothes so still have £61.90 of my £100 crazy clothes challenge money left to use.

Massive whooopsie on the Telly is still not showing on Next balance, wouldnt it be awesome if they forgot to add it! I did add a couple of bits to Tesco CC but they were all neccessary unfortunately.

Your doin brilliant with the repayments, don't forget you got a house, the flat hubby and pip, so to get repayments like that is amazing.
Good for you with the clothing challenge....... I sort of got distracted very quickly and blew out the £100, did make some on ebay, but it seemed that I needed clothes....... xx

Gosh I am actually ashamed how long its been since I was on here :-( I just dont seem to have any free time at the minute, its rubbish.

Its been a really stressy few weeks. Best friends, the ones who rent flat from me, have split up and 1 is moving back to Newcastle. Its been really hard to be supportive for both and now its beginning to take its toll on me and I am shattered. Of course it leaves it open as to what happens with the flat, not sure if the one left here can afford to rent it on his own or if he will move out and I will have to try to find the mortgae money until it sells.

I really want to move house, had trouble with neighbours, schools still rubbish, houses in nice area selling very cheaply BUT would have problems getting a new mortgage, have no deposit and our current house wouldnt sell for a good price.

On a money plus, I am increasing my hours as of August so will be doing 26 instead of 19. Should mean a bit more cash although not loads as i will now have to fork out £60 a week in childcare. Not sure if to pay off moree debt with the extra or if to save for a house deposit? Answers on a postcard please!

I hope you are all OK? Off to catch up. Will definately try to be around a bit more as I want to get back being MSE, not that Ive been wild but Ive not been angelic either! x x
