Hi all, glad Pips not the only one thats been naughty. I mean I knew he wasnt but even so its nice to hear others say the same.

Nothing DFW going on still, no spare pennies. Pay day next Friday so can make my monthlys and will try and make a bit over minimums.

Im going back to work on Monday for a few hour trial. Had my consultant appt on Tuesday and he said the hearing loss will never return. dizziness will go of its own accord. Sending me for an MRI scan and refering me to Audiology. Best bit was he said I cant use a headset so working in the call centre is impossible! Boss being great and said she isnt sure what they will do with me but they will sort something out. Got to have an occy health appt and see what they suggest.

Going to take Pip to a tumbletots free trial on Saturday. Thnk it will be good for him to be able to have a run round and let off some steam also nice for him to socialise with other little children. If he likes it I will need to pay a £20 membership fee and then £5.20 a week, more to try and find! Worth it though.

Well nothing else to report, off to do a shopping list.

Will have to buy another no way we can manage without one. Still managing with no proper cooker just the little mini oven, its a little tricky but bearable.

Sorry didn't know u hadn't been very well, at least the doc and the hospital on the ball, and work seems to be playing fair - the occupational health, they bend overbackwards to do everything they can for you.

Hope the washing machine holds on a bit longer, touch wood ours died, but it was just within the 12month guarentee.

Sounds like ur a genius with the mini oven.
    U take care xx

Ive come on to confess a MASSIVE nose dive in DFWism!

Last few weeks Ive really been disheartened by my DFW journey. No matter how hard we struggle we get nowhere so in all honesty I havent really bothered too much.

I have just had a huge wobble moment and bought a new TV on the CC for £450. Its a 42" Plasma LG and I couldnt resist it as it was such a good saving. Im feeling a bit guilty now but im hoping now Ive had my blow out I will be able to get back on track.

I know you all understand where Im coming from, its so frustrating to not be able to have loads of things that others couldnt even comprehend going without but still getting nowhere.

Im sure normal service will resume soon but in the meantime Im off to count down days till TV delivery.

oh to hell with it Pipsmum, a treat does you good now and again and you can get back on track again now. Enjoy the lovely new television! xx
  • Im loving the purchase!!!! if your gonna have a blow out then you might as well do it properly!!!!!! (sorry, not very helpful getting you back on track..........naughty pipsmum!!!!:rotfl:)

I totally know where your coming from with the frustration, there is a young couple that live across the road from my mum and dad and seem to have money to throw away (now getting the extension to there house that i so want) whilst me and my fella dont seem to buy anything and feel guilty if we do! (and no better for it)

I envy those who have stuck to being a dfw religiously, not once falling off the wagon..........me on the other hand, am black and blue i have fallen off that much.:rotfl:

my mottos for life: what doesnt kill me makes me stronger and my new addition......NO REGRETS!!!!!!! (so needed on the dfw road!)

good price on the tv though i have to say................
    love rags

May sound totally daft, but don't blame you re the TV, you've worked ur rear off for the god knows how long with the debts, the house, the flat, don't think of its as a fall off the debtfree wagon, but merely a blich, if you'd of gone and spent £500 on a pair of shoes, then that would be different, but you got something for everyone, ur in most nights, so it pay itself back,

U take care, any news yet, re the occupational dept yet? x

i think we all fall off the wagon at one time or another, i know i've certainly been struggling this year after feeling that i was doing really well last year. My policy is as long as it's going downwards that's all you can hope for sometimes.
