Hi Pipsmum,
I wish I had time to read your diary from the start at the mo - I will one day. I read the first couple of pages but haven't got to the part when you had your baby. I am 30 weeks pregnant and have just started my diary - I'm interested to know how you got on with money when you were on maternity leave, it is a bit of a concern and I have set ourselves a difficult target of clearing our debts off by sometime next year. Might be a tall order but still want to give it a real good go!
Looking forward to sitting down with a cup of tea and reading through the whole lot!Me, DH and DD (17 months) clearing our debt for a better future. Hellooooooooooooo
I REALLY dont like the new look forum. Its too bright :-(
I hope your all well?
Ive been on here reading and running really as Pip is being so naughty still. He has taken to waking up at 4am, which is not pleasant. He has become a really picky eater so i think he is waking up because he is hungry because hes been such a picky s od in the day!
I just ordered a £5 HMV voucher using my Cokezone points so that can go into my Christmas pile as it has cost me nothing.
Very little else to tell really I think thats why Ive not updated in a while as nothing interesting is going on! How about you lot?
TTFN x x
I'm glad I'm not the only one who found the new forum too bright, I've gone back to the old version!!
Hope Pip gets out of the fussy stage, dd was the same, that was till she started eating school dinners....... says it old. I guess they all the phases.
Well done in the HMV voucher, being nosey sorry, did you have to save many points, keep meaning to look into but its always on the to-do list!!
You take care xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Welcome determined:hello:
30 weeks, not long to go. It was a bit tough but we managed. I had stocked up a bit with nappies, wipes, toieltries and cleaning things before hand. I set a shopping budget and stuck to it. I wrote to my creditors and explained that i was on maternity leave so would be unable to pay their minimums for a while and all but skanky, evil MBNA accepted in the short term.
Is it your first bubs? I will have to pop in and find your diary when i get a chance.
Mum2one how on earth do i go back to the old one?
£5 HMV was 100, yep you did read that right! I am really lucky that my friend drinks the 500ml bottles by the gallon but cant be bothered to enter them onto cokezone so he gives me the codes. I must also confess to peeling the labels off bottles I found laying about the place and using the code!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Hey Pipsmum!
Yes, it's my first, can't wait now
I decided to give cloth nappies a go and have been stocking up from Ebay - have a good '1st size' stash now and it cost me less than £60 altogether, that is for quite a lot of them as well. I also get 4 from my local council. Our normal waste is only collected fortnightly so that was a little bit of an incentive as well as cost. I also got a brand new crib from Ebay for £35! It's gorgeous. I got a moses basket for 99p and a baby bath for 99p, my sister is giving me a cot - this is going to be one bargain baby - lol!
I can't wait to read more of yours, I won't know how much we're bringing in from month to month which makes life difficult but I'll just take it as it comes.
How is your little one doing? Are you back at work now?Me, DH and DD (17 months) clearing our debt for a better future. Well done on the £5 voucher - i have over the 100 now but was waiting for some vouchers to come on as when i looked there wasnt any. So ill go order one now!! Im lucky my mum drinks loads of cans of coke and each multipack is worth 10 points so she tells me some of her codes (when she remembers to save them
)
Hope Aiden stops being so naughty - Freya is being a bit naughty now - she is just into EVERYTHING - climbing on things, in the dog water bowl where ever she shouldnt be she is!! Cant leave Ryan in his pushchair now as today i found she had climbed up into it and was leaning over him!!!

Hi
On the top page where it says new forum, or something similiar, you click that and it tells you how to go back, I'm not technical but did it 1st time, go into tools then click weird 3 letter, and it goes back to the old style, so can't be more help, but it is simple. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thank you Mum2one! I am now on new less bright!
Nipped to Morrisons yesterday and they had tonnes of Oooopsies I guess because of the bank hols. I got:
Cherry toms
Ordinary toms,
Punnet of strawbs,
Punnet of nectarines,
Loaf of bread,
Pack of 6 rolls,
Whole red cabbage,
Bag new potatoes,
And they were all 29p each, wooohoo!
Ive started to have rumblings of ideas for Christmas presents, yes, yes I know its June! But I went to a Bank hol fair thing and they had these really cool monster puppets so i bought Pip well me actually! one and everyone who has seen it has loved it. They were only a tenner but look so much more expensive so I think Monsters are the way forward!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hey Pips mum
Sorry long time not post on here - life eh.
Glad to hear you're stashing things already! Off to catch up with your exploits! I'll be glad when I'm in ONE house all the time instead of manically dashing between two.
