  • Hi sorry to hear you are still not well and lets hope you are better soon. I have been to hosp today and think I have to have hysterectomy, still trying to get my head round it.

Ha ha to Pip breaking into egg, clever boy! Hope you have a fab time in Devon. I wished I had taken mine away, these days out cost a fortune and as soon as we get home they are bored!!!! x

Sorry your still not well, ah bless Pip, I bet he looked a picture.

Never mind about no extra payments, the fact that there getting the minimum for now is enough.

Hoep you have a gd break in Devon, love it down there, always said if I won the lottery I'd buy a house down there!!.

Taking DD down in May, as my breaks been bit loose, got dad to book it in at our local garage, some part - master cylinder had gone, they were waiting for a delievery, ok, no probs hr later the phone goes ...... were in the process of fixing it, but your brakes need some more parts..

Cue dads credit card £298 bill!! Then its better than driving and the brakes going x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hummmph! Plumber said that there must be a leak on the pipe from the meter to the building, which goes under the car park  Rang Housing Association and they kept spouting the same line...blah blah blah....your responsibility...blah. So I said OK i will just go and dig your car park up then. All of a sudden they are a little more interested and are coming to look tomorrow.

In case they wont pay still I found that our local water board do a watertight scheme where they will replace 1 leak at the property for free to help stop water wastage. Lady said we qualify so just waiting for an assessor to come and say yay or nay.

Lovely, lovely sunny day here. Makes me feel happier.

Its fingers crossed time everybody! Water man is coming to say whether they will pay for the repair to the leaking water supply pipe. I REALLY hope they will or I have no idea how I can afford to do it. It will involve a lot of digging up the car park and I just cant afford that sort of cash :-( Feeling glum but a slight slither of hope in there still!!

Water man came and said no they couldnt repair it, so I said what can I do then nobody says its them, nobody is helping me what do I do and he must have took pity on me as he said he would try and find why he thought the problem was occuring.

He took out the water meter and when he tried to fit it back he couldnt as the piece it attaches to had sheared off. so he said they would have to dig the pipe up and replace it anyway. Basically I think he did it on purpose and was a bit heavy handed so that it would break and they would help me......lovely, lovely man.:A
They didnt turn up until 21.20 to do the digging though:eek: There plumber has just been out to flush the dirt out of the pipes and now the pressure is great, internal pipe to the bathroom may need flushing again by our own plumber but it is now at least useable. So all in all big Yay to Anglian Water :T:T

I was so worried though especially as they had to dig out an area about 4ft by 4ft and 3ft deep too, that would have cost a fortune if I had to pay.

Payday today so I need to do some sums and updates.....back soon!
