  • Hi there, my diary out of the window - prefer to hijack other people's diaries!! Boo to horrible MIL - fancy not being able to come downstairs in your own home. Had a full week of birthday celebrations so glad its all over as I am far too old for all these nights out!! Off to London next weekend with mum, sister and friend to see Sister Act and staying over for a night - eating at Planet Hollywood as I have always wanted to go - sad I know!!

Hope you manage to decide what to do about the job - I have always worked full time and mum has looked after them for me - sometimes I feel I have missed out on things but I am used to it now and make the most of the time I do have with them.

Off for a carvery later - last birthday meal!!

    x

Hijacking is OK with me! I bet Sister Act will be awesome, enjoy.

Just had a complete scare with Pip as he has got a bluey, bruisey rash and swelling on his jawline. Rang NHS Direct and she got me to do the glass test and it didnt fade, she panicked more than I am! Told me to ring doctor and he said it sounds like a minor reaction to the MMR jab and keep an eye on him and as long as he seems ok in himself not worry.

Just paid £8 off of my Mothercare card, tiny but it all goes in the right direction.

Mum has offered to lend me £2000 if it will help us so I have written to lucius to see if they will accept a F&F but i doubt it very much, dont ask dont get!

Ah bigs hugs to Pip, hope he goes on ok, you take care. That sounds lovely of mum with the 2k, keep fingers crossed that lucius accept it. Just make sure you get it in writing if they say yes, so they can't turn round in a yr or 2 and suddendly decide they want more money.

Thats gd with the extra money on Mothercare, every £1 helps, xx

  • Oh Pipsmum how very scary, glad he seems ok. Good luck with the f&f settlement, its always worth a go! I had a dream last night about being completely debt free, it was lovely while it lasted and then I woke up!! Paid the horrible Ace catalogue off yesterday with its 30% interest rate, so glad to see the back of that one. They said "Can we ask why you are leaving us when I told them to close the account, I told them its because of their stupid interest rate but I was more stupid to have used it"!. They said they would be sorry to lose me as a customer, bet they flipping will with all the interest I have paid them!!! Never again. x

30% interest  cant understand why you wanted to leave them? :p

Pip seems OK today thanks all. He still has the rash and is still swollen but in himself seems fine.

I have become a bit obsessed with make up on wholesale and job lots on Ebay. Won 12 collection 2000 items for £3 on Sunday. Also bidding on some maybelline lipglosses and eyeshadows, at minute 4 for 99p! Some can go towards my friends 30 30th pressies and the rest, oh well i may just have to keep them! :D
