Happy to be of service ladies!

I just had my 12 items for £3 come from the same seller and I was really pleased. Keep us posted Mum2one

Mr Ms came to £43 so £3 over budget but I got 2 Easter craft sets for friends 2 children and they came to....yep you guessed it £3!!

Sounds daft, but reassuring that your parcel was ok.

Can't wait to get mine xx

Fantastic ideas Pipsmums :) thank you

Havent received any of my make up yet but its only Monday, may come tomorrow x
  • Ok hello
Bit left out here with all this talk of make up.

Although I did take mine south and wore some on Monday - second day this year with make up on I might be turning back into a girl. Although I doubt it.

Hope life's ok - just caught up. I agree with amazon/magpie/ebay you need find the right place for your things eh? Sometimes I'm just lazy and splurge on one thing or the other but I am going to take more care - Amazon fees aren't cheap when you list. Its a bit sneaky.

Sent my first things off to magpie music and think that 30p for my old spice girls CD is actually quite a good price!!

Smarties and Mum2one hope your make up has arrived. Im still waiting on 1 that I won ages ago too.

Ive been a bit AWOL this week havent I1 Im feeling a bit bleugh and out of tune with the world. For once not really about money as i get paid on Monday and theres still some left which is unusual.

Still off work sick, GP referring me to ENT clinic.

Some barstewards tried breaking into my Mums house and my Pap has been poorly too so I just feel a bit down in the dumps I think, sure I will be cheerier soon.

Off to do my Mr Ms list.

Mum2one - glad parcel arrived and you are pleased, might get the 100 piece one myself in a few weeks.

Still not feeling very cheery :( must be noticeable as even OH remarked on it yesterday! Coulnt get to sleep, over analysing things as always.

Was a bit jittery following Mums attempted burglary so have been and bought a new window lock for living room as old one was broke and didnt lock. The policeman that came to Mums yesterday left her a pack and in it was loads of vouchers for 20% off :money: home security at Homebase so I used that as she didnt need to buy anything new. Luckily hers held out well and copper said they wouldnt need replacing. She used to be an insurance assessor and new the man at the local double glazing firm and he fitted special laminated glass for her at a much reduced price so even thought they threw a massive lump of metal at the window it didnt break just kind of bounced off!:D

Spent exactly £50 at Mr Ms, £10 over budget but I did have £11 worth of stuff for Pip so dont think I did too badly. They had a Mothers Day roast dinner offer so got a huge piece of pork loin for £3 which I will chop in half and freeze.

Had a letter come about a savings policy that matures on April 1st, I knew it was soon but wasnt sure when. If I bought company shares it was worth £567 but to cash it out was £450 so ive took the money! It will cover the MOT recomendations on my car and some spare incase OHs fails MOT next month.

While I was in Homebase getting locks I saw they had purple spotty watering cans with little flowers in reduced from £6.99 to £2.25!:T Got 1 for my Mum, 1 for nan and I got 1 for evil witch. Ive given them a good drink and will pick off the dead looking ones and they will look great.

Received a £10 Tesco voucher in post today from Valued Opinions surveys so that will go into the Christmas pot.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm all for now I think.

Hope you have all had some lovely cards and been pampered.

We went to B&Q! Not as bad as it sounds and I wanted to go. Got some vinyl floor planks for in the kitchen, they look like laminate. Going to lay them next weekend and it will make a huge difference to the look of the kitchen. We got 6 packs and they were £4.95 per pack.

We also have decided to pull up the carpet in the hall and living room and hire a sander. They are in good nick and will look really nice. Found a lovely rug in Ikea for £34, hiring sander for day is £37 and a tin of varnish is £25.

Managed to paint 2 of the living room walls red and they look lovely, maybe try and paint the magnolia walls next weekend too. Want to do more but keep feeling yucky and dizzy again.

Going to Costco with Mum and dad tomorrow so will look for some bargains, definately need rice as a 6Kg tub in Costco is £5 and 1Kg pack in shops is over £1.50.

Off for a look see on here.

I once hired a sander, big mistake. Spent more time putting new belts on than sanding, if I could've picked it up and thrown it I would. Hope it goes better for you.
