Ha ha! Rants are cool! All good advice.:A I think you are right about being the leg up we need.
So I found out the Salary................................£28,0000:eek: + Car + Laptop + Mobile!
Beginning with 6 Level 6 positions, potentially moving on to 30 so even if I didnt get it this time there would be vast potential for getting a future position.
Only an 18 Month role and I am fairly sure with a lot of hard work in the middle with MSE ways we could be in a position for me to stop work altogether by then.:pDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Same here, sounds fab, like you say if its for 18 months, and it enables you to be debt free quicker, yes it means that Pip goes to your mums, just make more Pip time when ur home.
Good luck xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I just cant even not contemplate that sort of salary can I? So I will apply and see what happens, I have a lot of proven experience in the field so I think I could think of the right things to say in an interview and examples and stuff. I would imagine there will be quite a lot of competition for it though.
It does peeve me slightly that 1 area of the business is prepared to pay that sort of figure for exactly the same thing I am doing for less than half of that (even if I were FT) in my area, madness!!
I just signed up to have a milkman deliver to us each week....how old school!!
OH and I have a large milkshake addiction and Pip is on whole milk now, they are quite reasonable so i thought why not!Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

It even told me his name!
They were quite reasonable anyway 68p for a pint of milkshake about £1 in the shops so a little saving already. Pips milk will be fresh and in a manageable amount, in Mr Ms I have to but a 2 pinter and end up sniffing it and chucking it by about Wednesday. Ive got a pint for him on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Milkshakes for us Fridays as a weekend treat.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

We have a milk man - ours is a little more then the shops - but it stops me having to go for milk and end up buying everything in the shop!!! lol. didnt think about the yummy milk shake
might have to order some..... Also with mine you can add to your order the night before so if you remember you need bread or something they will drop that of aswell - not sure of prices etc though - prob more!!
On the job front im glad you have made up your mind - its a hard choic but sounds like your doing whats best for you all in the long run. Hi just catching up after my 40th birthday celebrations which have gone on all week! Wow, lots to read. I have always been the breadwinner in our house earning more than DH. I go through periods of guilt but I am doing it to pay debt off so we can enjoy more family holidays etc and boys can enjoy things they like to do. I am lucky like you that I have mum but I pay her too so I never feel like I am asking too much from her. It feels much better than leaving them at after school club too. Apply and see what happens. xx0

Happy Birthday Spends! Hope you had a lovely time? What did you get up to? Havent seen anything on your diary, will check in a mo.
Have done a big fat nothing all day, havent even left the house. Wicked witchvisited this morning but because I am still dizzy and cant drive I couldnt escape eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Stayed upstairs and sorted Pips clothes to go up the loft and see what else we needed to buy for him. Went to Dunnes yesterday with Mum and I got 5 long sleeve tshirts, 10 pairs of socks, 2 polo shirts, 2 pairs of joggers for £19 :T also washed the tonnes of hand me downs we had in loft so wont need much. The little (ha ha the irony!:D) !!!!!! is in size 18-24mths and hes only 13 mths!
Need to buy a new ink cartridge as I have just battered ours by printing off a load of cool things to do with Pip when he is bigger. Loads of fun but learny type activities, loads of simple things we can do such as letting him touch things in the park like the tress or pebbles or water.
Went to Mr Ms on friday budget was £40, originally came to £41 but I had a load of coupons i found on here so actually it came to £34 :T
Still having complete stress over the F/T job. The more I think about it the more I really dont want to do it and then my brain says "suck it up princess you need to!"
First Tesco DVDs came, well 1 DVD and 1 game for OH so he is happy. They came really quickly so im impressed.
Also impressed with Brian the milkman oooooooooeeeeeeeeeer! Not like that!:p He knocked the door at 7am to let us know our milk was there. Yummy milkshakes, nearly all gone ooops and some proper creamy topped full fat for Pip.
Right off to bedfordshire to dream of lovely wellies that I want from here http://www.easy-wellies.co.uk/funky-wellies-c-3.html thanks to naughty Fay!
