Thanks all, glad you liked the cake. I was pleased with it. :j
We have done very little today, tidied up and got ready for return to work tomorrow booooooooooooooo! We have watched several Extreme makeover home editions today and each one has made me sob! Some of the families had nothing and their houses were falling down but they still adopted/fostered disabled kids or ran sports clubs, amazing.:A
Ive just been naughtily good, if you can be?The book people sent me their catalogue and I found 10 murder mystery books for my Mums Birthday for £10 and 10 Ian Rankin books for OH for Fathers Day also for £10. If you spent £25 you got free delivery so I got Pip 2 books too and then used a 10% of code from here. See Naughtily MSE!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi pipsmum hope work is not too painful tomorrow. Hope you went through Quidco too for the Book People. Book People are fab for the box sets, bargain! So organised buying for Fathers Day already!! x0

Ouch, ouch, ouch! Work was awful, VERY busy, loads of people cant make it in because of the snow and loads of people calling in because of the snow.............bloody snow!!
There is a tonne of overtime going at the moment so I have said I will do 10 extra hours, I dont get double pay though as I need to do over 37 to qualify and I will still only be doing 30. It should work out to about an extra £55 next month though so yay!
Bigger Yay to the email work sent us saying if we had worked the really busy week before Christmas then they would be giving us a one off £50 bonus payment to say thank youso £100 extra to pay to Lucius next month!
I just won on Ebay a Dear Mum mini scrapbooking kit for 95p so I am hoping to put some nice things in it for my Mum for Christmas.
Not really sure whats going on with my Butlins Bingo money as it went into my account but straight away reversed but is showing on the balance still?
Paid £22 off Lucius this evening, not doing PAD but thought I would try and make a payment when i felt I could afford it. Wont normally be as high as £22 but I wanted to make it a round number! :rotfl:for Pips Birthday wishes x x

Hello Peeps
Hope you have all had a good day?
Randomly I won a massive baguette, packet of crisps, twix bar and a spriteat work today! Everyone is so battered from being on the busy phones that they are trying to do some things to cheer us up. So thats my lunch for tomorrow sorted.:T
I did 2 hours extra today and another 2 tomorrow, got to be there for 7am  so will need to get up around 5.30 which is surely still the middle of the night :rotfl::rotfl:
The Butlins bingo money went into my account then reversed and is now back in thereOnce it decides if it is going to stay there I will pay some off CC. Think I will have to postpone Lucius battering for a bit as the Mothercare card wrote to me yesterday and said the interest rate is going from 19% to 26%:eek: which makes it dearer than Lucius so even though I have a lower balance on it of £715 I think I should pay it off first, what do you all think?:money:
Going to do tea and then bed I think.

Well done on the win, this years is obviously going to be your year. To work out which card to pay first I would look at how much the interest is going to be each month, cos if you owe more to the lower interest one it could be that you would still end up paying more even with the lower rate IYSWIM. I am sure I remember that there is a calculator somewhere around which helos you chose which balance to pay first. Sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction0

Hey there lady lady - mucho impressed with the cake!
Online savers - here you go:
2 with lloyds (gargamel and smuffette central)
3 with RBS (Humprey, Darwin and Mavis)
I bank online with both
The RBS one took a couple days to open but the Lloyds one appeared (as if by magic) after I opened it
If you're registered for online banking they take a nano-second to open- (commission to Luceille mind!)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
Following Fay and Lucielles idea I now have 3 online savers.
1 is with Egg and is my Emergency money it is an ISA but I can still access it easily, not sure what the interest is on it but its Tax free, I am going to pay £10 poss £15 a month into it and it is named oh f***! for obvious reasons!! :rotfl::rotfl:
2nd I had anyway with A&L this is now going to be for my holiday savings and again I am going to put £10 a month in it. Its called Holibubs.
Last is a new one with the AA that I found on here. Its got 3.1% interest and I can make as many withdrawals as I need to. Going to put £10 a month in here too This is going to be for car repairs and is called brum brum.
So now I have all these accounts I just need to make sure I pay money into them! Have set up Direct Debt with Egg, will do same with AA when I get the paperwork. Its the A&L one I am worried about as thats the only 1 I can pinch from easily.
REALLY tired as Pip had me up for over an hour a 2am and then I had to get up at 5.30 to be at work. It had snowed loads in the night so it was a mission to get to work but made it! More overtime tomorrow again from 7am.
