Theres a post on the grabbit board for a convection oven at Aldi for £29.99, I know its not a full cooker but might be worth a go to keep you going while you organise a cooker.

Tried freecycle and gumtree but there are none on at the moment.
Have found this and think it might be best solution temporarily

sorry to hear about your cooker. Overtime always comes at a time when you think you can use it for one thing then something goes a bit awry.
i'm also a secret PADder, don't post on the thread and it may not be everyday but i do like doing the little payments, they really do add up.0 -
Another 5 hours overtime done. They are offering a load for next week too, I am off on Monday for a hospital appointment but have said I will do an extra 2 hours on Tuesday and an extra hour on Wednesday, hoping the put some up for Thursday again too. Its all money isnt it.
Rags and Mummy, I am only making REALLY small payments! Im checking bank before I do it too so I know I have enough.
Spend hope you can get a tumble dryer cheaply, maybe freecycle?Going to hope cooker limps along a little longer if not I think I will be buying a slow cooker! Thanks for the recipes Rags ,cant remember if I said thanks already?
Mum2one DD is so sensible with the money, you have taught her well. :T
My friend finally had heryesterday at 8.30pm after going into labour at 9am on Tuesday  Little baby girl called Grace and she is soooo sweet. Got a little outfit in the sales to give her and got a card out of my card stock box.
Pip has his booster Jabbies tomorrow so hope he will be ok.
Whats new with you lot?
I think I've taught her to well, you haven't seen her I WANT list for Holidays
Las Vegas - to see Grand Canyon, but have helicopter trip for Grand Canyon and night flight over Las Vegas Strip
The place with golden gate bridge and Alcatraz island
Miami - and go on the chopper thing through the marshes
Cyprus - so we can do a day flight to Egypt to see the Pyramids
Tunisia (again) likes Jo (the rep I'm friends with)
Dom Rep - Swim with dolphins (going 2011)
Mexico - but only when they get rid of the swine flu - do every trip I did (back in 2001 - I spent £400 on trips!)
Artic - to see polar bear and floating ice! (her words)
Cuba - to see those old cars
Florida - If I'm going to see Micky Mouse may as well do it properly
Kenya - but only a day safari - don't want to be away from the hotel to long as the overngt hotel in Tunisia (when we did Sahara trip) was not gd enuf (3star)
Goa - looks nice
But it must be 4 star all inclusive and in her words "I have standards you know and I have been in all the papers.I'm famous you know.
Think the holiday list partly my fault keep getting sent them brocheres, I never get to see them.

Had to have a nosey, looks really good bar the odd comment, it has a really good write up.
May be worth getting a slow cooker as well, there brilliant, I got mine for £10 in Argos sale, need to get a descent sized one, say get 6.5l then cook more than what you need, freezer the rest off.
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4228479/Trail/searchtext%3ESLOW+COOKERS.htm
Rachel Hale one thats £13.99 instead of £29.99
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4233433/Trail/searchtext%3ESLOW+COOKERS.htm
thats £23.99 instead of £49.99
Def say worth paying the extra for 6.5l slow cooker.
Hope Pip goes on ok after his jabs xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
LT you are so right about the overtime money, I was going to put it towards the debts and now look!
Kidcat thankyou for the link. :A
Mum2one I want to go to most of thsoe places too, shall we go together?
Right operation bust cooker is in progress! I have just rang work and told them I will work 7 - 12 as overtime on Saturday, should be about another £50 next month but will pay more tax of course.
Reserved the little mini oven from Argos for OH to pick up tomorrow. It looks like it will do us for the moment it had 80+ reviews and got 4.5 stars out of 5 so not bad. Also gives me an excuse not to have people round for meals!! :rotfl::rotfl: Lots of reviews said it was very energy efficient so might save some money as our old cooker was naff as hobs wouldnt turn off so even if you only wanted oven on hobs had to be on too.
So feeling a bit happier and not so gutted, Thank you everyone x x

Thank you, I think every child should be taught about money, I know there doing now in schools, same here my parents spoilt me, not to the extent that I was spolit rotten, but sounds daft my 18th I had a choice of a car or a party, - I got the car, the party, and a sofa bed.......
They then brought me a car for my 19th bday, both old bangers, but thats not the point..
When I left school I got a summer job at Wimpy, for 30hours work got pd £30, and they never said xx for keep it was all mine, so to an extent I've never been responsible with money, when I was working, needed a car, part exchange - finance the rest, clothes -on the card. Only really after having dd that my eyes got opened, but then I think to an extent there was still a sense of blinkering, only really last few yrs, more becoz don't want dd to go down the same route, thou she has got her head screwed on with money, you could not pull the wool over her eyes with anything, which is gd.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Home from my overtime and I am pooped.
It was quite quiet so I managed to book the 2 Sun £9.50 holdays and we have one at good old Devon Cliffs in end of April and one in a log lodge in Warmwell near Weymouth. Really pleased. It wasnt actually our first choice but I am pleased nether the less.
We have got the little mini oven and it works well. Its actually quite cute and more than adequate for our needs at least temporarily. And Ive got an excuse for nobody coming to dinner!
Going out for dinner tonight as my uncle was 50 on the 12th so he is paying for our meals.
Off for a look see on here now.
