Thats the plan Kidcat.
Just paid an extra fiver off of Mothercare card. I quite like this small payment every few days thing. Fay i know you do it but is there any other PADers present?
Big bummer, I think our cooker is on its way out. It wont heat up unless you put it onto grill first. :mad:Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Hiya, i have done a similar thing with accounts, i have a car one, a christmas one and a clothes one.
I would love to do PAD but scared i would pay off too much and leave myself short so based on my soa just pay a lump sum.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22
Weight loss: 1.5lbs0 -
I'm the same as u pips mum,
Main account -Harry the Halifax- all main payments etc go in - and everything goes out to quick.
Barney the Barclays - has all mystery shopping money, what little there is, but easier to keep seperate, now what am I going to spend my £12 on... a porche... doubt it would even buy a bolt for it!
have Ing - have £10 pm going to that pays the half share of AA membership with daddy darling!!!
DD - shes the one with accounts named
Dolphin account - save 50p towards swimming with dolphins, originally aiming for when she was 11, but due to misfortune (or luck!!), with a bag of sugar and a supermarket, we had 2weeks in Tavistock, and half 2wards Dolphin holiday, going nxt yr for my 40th.
Change Account - she has all the loose change, so when shes 18, hopefully have a nice sum
Tightwad account - DD choose the name, mum + dad give her £15 a month - again ready for 18th
Pocket Money account - I put some money up for her, if she needs anything big
I do get some funny looks in the bank, bank monthly, and great fun if weve been away, lots of change, 2 weeks last yr in Blackpool she made £40... theres me toddling in with about 8 bags of change.. Great when they say we can't take the bags as there not full amounts......ok I'll close all the accounts.... and by the way ask ur manager as we had this discussion before... then suddenly the money gets accepted.
Good luck with the overtime, hope the roads aren't too bad to get in on. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well done for setting up all the accounts, i just have one isa which i pay any savings int and have a spread sheet with what all the different sections are spilt into....not sure if its the best way or not but is working at the moe
I used to do pad and did get on well but also worry about paying to much and then not having enoughat the moe i am rounding down the bank so its on a round number and then putting in isa towards paying mil!! and when i have the full amount ill pay her off!! (thats the plan)

Hi Pipsmum well done on setting up accounts - think I will do the same. I definitely need a separate one for Christmas and to start saving now. Good news on overtime, it all helps. Boo to cooker, my tumble dryer has packed up and I am lost so going to have to replace it.
Have a good day all x0 -
Another 5 hours overtime done. They are offering a load for next week too, I am off on Monday for a hospital appointment but have said I will do an extra 2 hours on Tuesday and an extra hour on Wednesday, hoping the put some up for Thursday again too. Its all money isnt it.
Rags and Mummy, I am only making REALLY small payments! Im checking bank before I do it too so I know I have enough.
Spend hope you can get a tumble dryer cheaply, maybe freecycle?Going to hope cooker limps along a little longer if not I think I will be buying a slow cooker! Thanks for the recipes Rags ,cant remember if I said thanks already?

Pipsmum - I think Argos have slow cookers in quite cheap at the moment
They have a 6.5litre Rachel Allen One for about £14 I think.
I have two slow cookers now and wouldnt be without them, meals are ready and waiting and its so much easier.0 -
