    Hello All

Hope you had a lovely evening and have had a great day today?

Last night we had fun at the 2 parties, Pip stayed up until gone midnight and gave us all a very funny look when we sang Auld Lang syne!

Ive just TOTALLY depressed myself by doing a snowball calculator and not even including my EGG loan and money borrowed from Mum my DFW date would be Feb 2014!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I dread to think what it would be if I included the others!

Still not actually going to pay too much attention to it, why bother if its just going to depress me and demotivate me? Might as well plod along as I was.

Just joined the £100 limit for clothes for the year challenge and also the £365 in 365 challenge.

What have you all been up to? x x

You did so well last year, and hopefully we should be better this year as should of honed (?!) our money savvy skills...............

Im glad you feel the same about it Rags. I felt I was sticking my head in the sand a bit when I chose to part ignore it but I dont think I am, just doing what motivates me best!

I see you are doing a few challenges too, good luck with them.

    In 2010 I want to:
    • Clear all my Credit Card balances, currently around £8000
    • Keep weekly grocery shop to as low as possible by meal planning and having most things homemade eg pasta sauce and curry sauce.
    • Money Neutral for Christmas and Birthdays, already made a start on this by using boots points and vouchers from surveys to get Birthday presents in the sale.
    • Update Diary MONTHLY (I will do it, I will!) figures for balances and money neutral and challenges.
Hmmmmmmmmmm all for now i think!

    Hope you won Hampster!

So I just made a £2 payment to Lucius! I went to Matalan yesterday and saw a really nice green cardi for £2! I didnt buy it,despite kicking myself now, so figured that the money I didnt spend should go off CCs. We say it often but every little helps!

As I say I went for a pootle round sales again yesterday as MIL came and as you all know I dont get on with her so make myself scarce when she visits.

I got a Christmas nightdress and matching slippers as a present for next Christmas for £3, Pip had some new jim jams for £1.50, got Mum a westie doorstop for Mothers day for £4 all from Matalan.
Boots got me some a Gillette set for Fathers Day for £4, 3 little pressies for my Bestfriends 30th Lucky dip for £3, A really cute gingerbread man tin with cuttter and ingredients for me was £3 but I used last of advantage points so free!
In Next I got 2 really cute reindeer mugs for £6 for a pressie for next Christmas.

I think I will list later what I have bought and what I have paid for presents for Birthdays for the year, I think I will impress myself!
