Chicken - use however much you want, I s-t-r-e-t-c-h my chicken out!!
    150ml natural yoghurt
4tbsp tikka paste - I paid £1.50 for my jar and its lasted ages.
    2 onions
    1 garlic clove
    1tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chilli paste - mine was 79p for a tube, again will last ages.
    1/2 pint chicken stock

    Chop your chicken into chunks

Mix yoghurt and curry paste, chuck in chicken, mix it up a bit, cover and leave for 1 hour to marinate.

Heat a little oil and soften onions and garlic, add cumin and chilli paste.

Add chicken pieces only, fry until cooked.

Add rest of marinade and chicken stock, cover and simmer for about 15mins+

Season and serve, nom nom!! smiley-eatdrink020.gif

    Hello all

Still snowy and frosty but managed to get to work. Been on the phones all day each day as there are 2 incidents going on. 1200 homes in Barnett have No gas because a water pipe burst and filled the gas pipes and we have had to go and pump it out and fix any damage and we have 100 engineers working on it.
There is also a No gas incident in luton similar so we are really battered! There have been 50+ in the queue all day, its soooooooo stressful!!

    http://www.edie.net/news/news_story.asp?id=17449&channel=0&title=Engineers+race+against+time+to+restore+utilities+for+Christmas

Only have a half day tomorrow and then i am off until 11th january, whoop whoop!! :j:j

REALLY annoyed with Eon as I received a letter from their debt collectors about usage in the flat between july and october (when it was vacant and on the market). They estimated there was £79 used in this time!! In an empty property? :confused:I had to pay £49 to stop them knackering my credit rating even more than it is and am now in dispute with their complaints team, Spoke to 1 guy and he was so rude so I told him i didnt want to speak to him anymore and wanted his manager who was to be honest equally as rude!!! They calculated I should pay £33 so where did £79 and £49 come from? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad::mad:

Anyhoo off for a bath and a chill out.

  • thanks for the recipe Pipsmum, will be using that over Christmas. EON are crap, I had a huge issue with them too earlier in the year which is now resolved where they kept sending me letters from a debt collector for an account which was paid and closed. Hope your last half a day is not too bad and then enjoy your lovely long holiday! I finish today too but not looking forward to food shopping later. If I was organised I would have done it on line and had it delivered but no by the time I thought of this all the delivery slots were taken! Never mind. x

    Hi Pip’s Mum, :hello:

Sorry to hear you’re having these problems with E.ON. :o Hope I can help a little.

The original estimate may have been high as estimates are based on previous usage data, so although the flat was empty, when the bill was due and we had no reading an estimate is generated on usage over the last year(when there was some consumption).

If you are disputing the bill and it’s accuracy with the complaints team, no demands for payment will be made, everything is held from the date the complaint is raised. ;)

To get a completely accurate figure for the period that is being disputed is only going to be possible if there are some actual readings from the time recorded. Did/do you have any readings from this time?

If you feel your not getting anywhere with your complaint, or you would like my opinion on this case, you can email me on the email address to the left and I’ll get back to you. I’m here till 6pm today then I break up for Christmas, so I have the rest of the day to help if you’d like? :)

    Merry Christmas :xmastree:
